The directions below should assist you in preventing undesired notifications or requests from Facebook Applications. Please note that these directions describe functionality provided by Facebook Inc., and may be subject to changes based on their updates.
To stop receiving notifications
1. Place your cursor (arrow) over the notification
2. A down arrow button will appear in the upper right hand corner of the post. Click the down arrow.
3. A new menu will drop down, click
4. "Hide all by Application" to prevent further posts from the application.
5. "Unsubscribe from game stories by Name" to prevent future game notifications from this player.
6. "Unsubscribe from Name" to prevent future notifications from this player.

To stop receiving gifts
1. Click on “Game Requests” on the left hand side of you Facebook home page
2. Find the request you wish not to receive and click the “x” next to “accept”
3. On the following screen there are two links "Block Application" and "Ignore all request Friend"

To block further requests from the application click on "Block Application"
Click "Okay" in the pop-up window
To block further requests from a friend click on "Ignore All Invites From Friend"
