  • Q: What are the prerequisites for this feature?
    A: This feature is available to players Level 15+. If you are at or above the required level you will see the following quest icon.



  • Q: What is the footprint of the Equality District?
    A: This district has a 12x12 footprint.
  • Q: How many residences, businesses and Community Buildings can I place in the Equality District??
    A: Up to 36!
  • Q: Can I build more than one (1) Equality District?
    A: No. You may not have multiple Equality Districts in your city.
  • Q: Which residences, businesses and Community Buildings can I place in the Equality District??
    A: You can place any residence, business or Community building into the Equality District with a few exceptions such as Skyscrapers, Famous Businesses, modern and custom homes, etc.
  • Q: Does the Equality District neighborhoods drop population "doobers" (moving trucks that increase your population)?
    A: Yes, there is a chance to randomly receive these and increase your population every time you collect from your neighborhoods; as long as not all the residences in that neighborhood are at maximum population.
  • Q: Will residences, businesses, and Community Buildings placed in the Equality District still count towards quests?
    A: No, if a quest requires you to have a specific residence you would have to remove it from your neighborhood and placed it in your city; if a quest requires you to collect from a specific residence you would have to remove it from your neighborhood, place it in your city, and collect from it as many times as needed.
  • Q: What happens if I remove the Equality District?
    A: It will be sold back to the game for coins.


  • Q: Will current decorations affect District bonuses?
    A: No, but you will receive a Tiered Fountain decoration by completing the associated quests.
  • Q: Can I upgrade the Equality District?
    A: Yes, you can upgrade it to hold more buildings.

  • Q: Will the different areas of the Equality District appearance change with each upgrade level?
    A: Yes, there are three different upgrades to the Equality District!


Step by Step Guide: Building Yours!
  1. Place the Equality District through quest or inventory to start building it. Note: There are no clicks to build when placing from quest.



  2. Once the Equality District is built, you will see a door icon appear. Click on the Mall, Neighborhood or Civic Center to open their menus.
  3. Click on the "Fill" button to place a residence inside your neighborhood. Click on the "Fill" button to place a business inside your Mall. Click on the "Fill" button to place a Community Building inside your Civic Center.

  4. All buildings of applicable type will be highlighted in your City.
  5. Click on the desired residence, community building, business to place it inside your Equality District. Note: If a residence, business or community building does not highlight, it cannot be placed inside. 
  6. You will be able to collect rent from your Mall, Neighborhood, and Civic Center the same way you currently collect from malls, neighborhoods and government center. You will see a countdown clock over that section of your district once it's ready to collect you will see a coin symbol above it.
  7. Select the coin to collect from that section of your district; once you click you will see the following pop-up informing you how much energy collecting from the currently selected neighborhood will cost you.



Upgrading!

You will need to collect the required parts to upgrade each section of your Equality District.
  • Neighborhood
    • 1st upgrade: total 30 parts - 3 different parts (lawn ornament, sprinkler and picket fence) - 10 of each.
    • 2nd upgrade: total 45 parts - 3 different parts (same as first neighborhood upgrade) - 15 of each.

  • Mall
    • 1st upgrade: total 30 parts - 3 different parts (bench, display case and escalator) - 10 of each.
    • 2nd upgrade: total 45 parts - 3 different parts (same as first mall upgrade) - 15 of each.

  • Civic Center
    • 1st upgrade: total 30 parts - 3 different parts (ledger, tax forms and law books) - 10 of each.
    • 2nd upgrade: total 45 parts - 3 different parts (same as first civic center upgrade) - 15 of each.
