Helpfulness Score vs the Helpers Panel

Zynga.com provides you with a number of ways to help out your fellow players and zFriends, and it also tracks how much you help people out! But these are tracked in different ways, in different places.

The Helpfulness Score is what appears on your Zynga.com profile. This is a record of how many times you’ve helped out your zFriends by sending them help through the zFriends tab of the Live Social Stream, and you’re ranked against your zFriends based on this. Only the help you send to your zFriends is counted for this score, but score counts all help given to zFriends across all games that use the Live Social Stream.

The Helpers Panel will appear when you start playing a game that utilizes the Live Social Stream on the Right Rail. This tracks how much help you've given and received from everyone playing that game on Zynga.com, counting how often your requests for help are clicked, and how often you click the requests coming from other players. This can include the help you’ve given to zFriends (since they’re still a part of “everybody!”).

Your Helpfulness Score and the counts shown on the Helpers Bar are going to be different. Please remember that the Helpfulness Score only tracks what help you’ve given to your zFriends, when the Helpers Bar tracks everything. So be sure to switch over to the zFriends tab of the Live Social Stream every now and again, and help them out!
