Quick Guide to Feed Settings

Hey City Builders,

The new feature allows you to quickly post updates and help requests from the game to your wall, but since you will not have the option of changing post settings per post now is a good time to take a look at Facebook's privacy settings.

This guide will show you how to manage and optimize your privacy settings in a few easy steps.

1. Click on the down arrow near your Facebok name and select "Privacy Settings"
   
   
   
   
2. You will see the following setting on the page that comes up. This setting controls app activity across all Facebook apps. If you want to include (or exclude) certain friends lists click on "Custom" and customize this setting, otherwise just select "Friends" if you want all your friends to see your game posts.
   
   
   
   
3. You can also customize settings for every app that you use on Facebook. To do this, click on "Edit" across from "Apps and Websites".
   
   
   
   
4. Click on "Edit Settings" on this page.
   
   
   
   
5. You will see the list of all your games/apps; find the one for which you'd like to change settings and click on "Edit" across from it.
   
   
   
   
6. You will see settings and permissions come up for the selected game. "App activity privacy" is the one that controls settings for all posts from this game (both to your wall/feed and to the app ticker). If you click on the button across from it you will be able change these settings. You can either select specific friends lists, or set it to all your friends. Only the friends included in this setting will see posts from this game.

Guide to the New ZSC

Hello City Builders,

We're happy to introduce the new Zynga Social Center (ZSC), which will be replacing the current Zynga Messaging Center (ZMC).

Don't worry not much has changed, we kept all the great features from the ZMC and made them even more user friendly!

Benefits

• Accept and return gifts of the same type with one click!
• Accept and help requests faster.

Summary FAQ:

• Q: Will this change affect how many gifts I can send/receive?
  A: No it will not.
  
• Q: What will happen if I accept more energy (or another item) than the maximum amount I can store in my inventory?
  A: If you do not have enough room in your inventory for the item your are accepting it will not be added to inventory. However, this item will go back into your inbox and will be waiting for you next time you open the ZSC.
  
• Q: When I click on help requests they just disappear without any messaging, is this normal?
  A: Yes it is, this is part of what makes accepting help requests from your friends easier than ever!

Step by Step Guide

1. Just as always, you can access the ZSC by clicking on the envelope on the upper-right hand side of your screen; it will also come up automatically as your game loads. The ZSC still looks very much the ZMC, and you will be able to accept gifts and help requests the same way. However, there are a few major updates that will make gifting easier than ever!
   
   
   
   
2. One great new feature is that most gifts of the same type will be grouped together in the ZSC, so that you can accept and return them all with one click!
   
   
   
   
3. Mystery Gifts will not be grouped together, so that you have the option of seeing what you get from each one. To see what you have received from a mystery gift, just hover over gift and you will see "Accept and See" option come up, clicking on that link will show you what you have received from the mystery gift.
   
   
   
   
4. The other great new enhancement is that when returning a gift to a friend for the first time you will have the option of turning on one-click gift returns for any future gifts sent to the same friend. Just leave that box checked and you'll be able accept and return all gifts from that friend with one click!

• Q: What are the prerequisites for this feature?
  A: You have to be level 50+ for this quest line.
  
  
• Q: Do I have to do the 3 parts of Act 2 in any particular order?
  A: No you do not, you can complete them in any order you like. Once they become available and you complete all 3 parts of Act 2 you will receive the Capitol Rotunda.
  
  
• Q: Do I have to complete the first act to start the next one?
  A: No you do not; you can complete quests in either act any order you wish.
  
  
• Q: When will more parts unlock?
  A: Soon .

Step by Step Guide

1. You will see Act 2 unlocked, once it is available to you, when you click on the quest icon.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. You can watch the video for this Act by clicking on the play button in the upper right-hand corner of the act.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Click on “Okay” to return to the Governor’s Run information screen will open. Click on one of the available quest icons to see the requirements for the that quest.
   
   
   
   
   
4. To get back to the Governor’s Run info screen just click on the arrow in the upper left-hand corner.
   
   
   
   
5. If you want to see the Governor’s Run information again after closing it, just click on this quest icon.
   
   
   
   
6. Once you have completed part one of a quest line you will unlock part 2. Finishing all 3 parts of a quest line will complete that part of Act 2. Stay tuned for more!

Where is the Spice All feature and how does it work?

We've listened to your most requested feature and we've added the Spice All feature!

What is Spice All?Spice All will spice all of the dishes on your stoves with the least expensive spices necessary to complete the dishes. For example, if you are cooking two dishes that have less than six hours left for cooking, clicking Spice All will use Sixhour Thyme before using Instant Thyme. In this way, you use only your least expensive spices necessary to complete the dishes.

How do I use the Spice All feature?Simply click on a cooking dish and the Spice All option will appear at the top of your list.

Does Spice All use every kind of spice including spices like "Mastery Mint" or "Power Pepper"?
No, Spice All only uses spices that help complete dishes

Will Spice All automatically use all of my spices?
No, Spice All will only use the spices necessary to finish cooking your dishes.

What if I don't have enough spices to finish all the dishes I am cooking?
Your dishes will not be spiced, but you will be offered to buy more spices.

How can I find out more about the Spice All feature?You can find out more information about this feature by clicking the spice icon located at the right side of your cafe.
