What is FarmVille 2 Launcher?

FarmVille 2 runs on Adobe Flash, and we are aware that some farmers have had trouble accessing their farms since web browsers started revoking support for Flash. To ensure that our players can keep attending to their farm, we developed our secure FarmVille 2 Launcher. Once it is installed, you won't have to keep allowing the Flash to run every now and then.

For now, the FarmVille 2 Launcher is only available for Windows 7 users on Mozilla Firefox browser. Worry not because we are working on making it available on all other platforms.

How do I install the FarmVille 2 Launcher on Google Chrome?

Step 1: Load the game on Google Chrome browser to receive the Launcher pop-up. You will need to accept Zynga's Terms of Service to proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Upon accepting Zynga's Terms of Service, the green "Download & Install" button will enable. Click on it.

Step 3: After that, there will be a downloaded file on the bottom-left corner of your screen. Click on it to install the FarmVille 2 Launcher.

Step 4: Once the installation is finished, load your game to get the rewards.

What will happen if I ignore or accidentally close the FarmVille 2 Launcher pop-up?

Once the pop-up is ignored or closed, an icon that says "Important Notice!" will appear on the left side of the game screen. By clicking on this, you will be able to re-trigger the FarmVille 2 Launcher pop-up and get started with the installation process. This icon will then disappear upon fully installing the FarmVille 2 Launcher.

Changes on FarmVille 2 Posting Flow on Facebook

Facebook is changing the behavior of feed posts to give you more visibility and control over what you are posting on your timeline. Additionally, this lets you know about the contents that are about to be shared or posted through FarmVille 2.

This is the existing behavior:

1. Click on "Share" or "Post" button within the game.
2. The feed gets posted on your Facebook timeline instantly.

While this is how the new posting behavior would run:

1. Click on "Share" or "Post" button within the game.
2. A confirmation message appears
3. Click on "Post to Facebook" button.
4. The feed gets posted on your Facebook timeline.

In line with this, we've come up with an in-game pop-up that would let you be aware of such changes to the posting flow. You should see the pop-up when you load the game.

FarmVille 2 - It’s Sleigh Time!

Oh no! Percy's ram knocked over his bicycle and scattered all the Festive Baubles. We have to help him gather all of them so his mom can decorate the B&B Tree. As a reward, you’ll get a baby brown Roan Mini Donkey.

If you are level 15, the “It’s Sleigh Time!" popup will appear. Click on the “Place Building!” button to begin the feature.

To build the “To build the Sleigh Basket” you will need to collect the building materials.

Then you need to have Builders, so ask your friends for help or you can hire them.

After you’ve finished building, you’ll have a colorful sleigh that will look like this:

Click on the sleigh to start collecting Festive Baubles.

There are three easy ways to collect Festive Baubles. One is to harvest crops.

Want to have a better chance of finding Festive Baubles? Simply fertilize your crops! If you need additional Fertilizers, just click on the “Get More Fertilizer” button.

The second way to get Festive Baubles is by crafting them. If you are in need of materials, you could either ask or post for help.

You can also get more help by calling your Co-op.

Lastly, you can get Festive Baubles by purchasing them.

To keep track of how many you have collected, check the Festive Bauble counter in the menu.

You start earning rewards when you reach certain milestones:

22 Festive Baubles: 2 Frosty Bauble Lamp Posts

44 Festive Baubles: Goodie Pack

66 Festive Baubles: Resource Pack

88 Festive Baubles: 5 Frosty Bauble Lamp Posts

When you have collected enough Festive Baubles, click on the reward to redeem it.

Gather all the Festive Baubles to get the adorable baby brown Roan Mini Donkey and 10 Favors.

FarmVille 2 - Gratitude Grotto!

What comes first before the season of giving? The season of gratitude! The whole county has so much to be grateful for this year so let’s give everyone a chance to express what they are grateful for. Let’s hold a Gratitude Gala and get a cute Baby Chocolate Zebu Cow as a reward.

If you are level 15 or above, the "An Attitude of Gratitude!" popup will appear. Click on the "Build Gratitude Grotto" button to begin this feature.

Collect all the materials needed to build the Gratitude Grotto.

Invite your friends to help you build it or hire them with FarmBucks.

This is how it would like when it’s finished. Click on the Gratitude Grotto to access it.

Collect the required number of Gratitude Notes to complete the goal. There are 4 ways to get a Gratitude Note.

Complete a task from the Gratitude Grotto. You will also see the number of Gratitude Notes that you will get for completing that task

Post it to your wall so your friends can send you one. You will also see the total number of Gratitude Notes that you’ve collected here.

Purchase Gratitude Notes using Farmbucks.

Get it as a reward from the “There’s a First Time for Everything” line of quest.

Collect the Gratitude Notes and share it to your friends!

Certain milestones will earn you great rewards.

FarmVille 2 - The Shadow Theatre!

Thrilled about the Halloween? How about a Shadow Theatre? I've got the perfect story for you to play out. You’ll get this cute Baby African Pygmy Mini Goat as your treat!

If you are level 15, the "Scary Good Time!" popup will appear. Click on the "Place Shadow Theatre!" button to proceed with the feature.

Collect all the materials needed to build the Shadow Theatre.

Invite your friends to be your builder or hire them with Farm bucks.

This is how it would look like once it’s done. Click on the building to access it.

Collect the required number of Shadow Theatre Tickets and invite your friends to complete the goal. There are 4 ways to get a Shadow Theatre Ticket.

1. Complete a task from the Shadow Theatre.
2. Post it to your wall so your friends can send you one.
3. Purchase Shadow Tickets using Farmbucks.
4. Get it as a reward from the “Peek a Boo” line of quest.

There are 4 tasks that you need to complete: The Act I, Act II, ActIII, and The End. Once you’ve collected the required number of Shadow Theatre Tickets, click on the “Take Baby Steps” button to proceed to the next task.

Please note that any excess Shadow Theatre Ticket will carry over for the next set of requirements.

FarmVille 2 - Pot-pourring Reign!

Can you feel the tantalizing aroma of Potpourri? Well, blame it on the Potpourri Stand! Complete the "Pot-pourring Reign!" feature and win a Baby Miniature Black Painted Horse!

If you are level 15 or higher, the "Pot-pourring Reign!" popup will appear. Click on the "Build Potpourri Stand!" button to get started.

Collect building materials to get started.

Complete the building with the help of your friends:

Potpourri Points are what is needed in order to get the rewards and ultimately, the Baby Miniature Black Painted Horse. Potpourri Points can be obtained from crafting goods. To start, select and click the good that you want to craft.

If you have enough materials, click the ‘Craft’ button.

After crafting, a Potpourri Dryer will be occupied per good crafted.
