Happy Anniversary, Cafe World! It's been four fabulous years! So, how are we going to celebrate?

What is the Choose Your Difficulty feature?

You get to choose between three levels of difficulty for the quest: Easy, Medium and Hard. This way, you get to choose how challenging the quest is and also your reward.

Will I receive better rewards if I choose a more challenging difficulty?

Depending on the chosen difficulty you will receive different rewards after completing the entire Quest Event.

·          Easy difficulty will be rewarded with a 5x Ultra for completing the quest Event and stoves from buildables will be upgraded into Ultra.

·          Medium difficulty will be rewarded with an 8x Ultra for completing the quest Event and stoves from buildables will be upgraded into Ultra.

·          Hard difficulty will be rewarded with a 14x Ultra for completing the quest Event and stoves from buildables will be upgraded into Ultra.

How do the Quest tasks change if I change from one difficulty to another?

The only Quest tasks that will change according to the chosen difficulty are:

·         How many servings of a dish you have to cook

·         How many parts you have to receive from friends

Spice tasks will remain the same across all difficulty levels.

What is the recommended difficulty?

Depending on the amount of burners you have in your Café you will receive a recommended difficulty. However, if you want to challenge yourself more you can move up the difficulty level of the Quest, but we would recommend playing the recommended difficulty that the game prompts you to play.

Will I have the same time to complete the Quest on all difficulty levels?

Yes, no matter which difficulty you choose you will have 12 days to complete the quest. The only thing that changes is the difficulty of you Quest tasks.

Will I have to complete the Catering Orders to complete the Quest Event “4th Year Anniversary”?

No, you do not need to complete the Catering Orders to complete the Quest Event. But completing the Catering Orders will reward you with amazing dishes, great décor items and two 8x Mega Stoves, if you finish each Campaign with at least 7 Stars!

Will the free 14x Ultra Stove and Special edition Cook-o-tron statue from the free Anniversary Pack be permanent on my cafe?

No, when the event ends, these items will be removed from you game.

Loading Issues: Firefox 17

Hello Chef,

We have come across certain difficulties while playing  Café World - loading issues in particular, after updating Firefox to its latest version, Firefox 17. 
At this moment, and until we can be certain this is a momentary situation, we do not advise Chefs to play Café World in Firefox 17.

If you already have the updated version installed, we recommend that you use another browser, such as Google Chrome to play Café World.

FAQ: Tough Chef – Badges

Hello Chef,

Café World is going to reward you for being a Tough Chef, now more than ever before! Play the Tough Chef quests to prove your mettle in your café to earn rewards and Badges!

How can I earn a Badge?

Simply complete any Tough Chef quest to receive one Badge per challenge on completion.

How many Badges do I collect for an extra reward?

Once you have collected 3 Badges you will receive the Fireplace 8x Ultra Stove.

Do I have to complete 3 consecutive Tough Chef quests to receive the Fireplace 8x Ultra Stove?

No, you can complete any 3 of the Tough Chef quests to collect 3 Badges and you will receive the Fireplace 8x Ultra Stove.

Where can I see how many Badges I have collected so far?

Click on the Badges icon under the Inventory tab to view your collection of Badges.

My Badges window says other rewards will be coming soon. What does this mean?

We will be updating rewards for earning more Badges.

What if I completed Tough Chef Quest 1 before the Badges were introduced?

You will be able to see on the Badges window that you already completed one of the needed 3 Badges.

How can I identify the Tough Chef quests without opening all my quests?

Each Touch Chef quest icon is now tagged with ‘TC’ (picture of quest example) to help you identify it easily.

Are there any other rewards for completing Tough Chef quests?

As with all quests, you will earn coins, xp, dishes and décor along the way.

FAQ: VIP Subscription Levels

Amelia has decided to give her most loyal VIP members amazing additional benefits in their Café.

How long do I have to subscribe before I become a Silver VIP member?

After 3 months of continuous VIP membership you will receive Silver Status benefits. After you made the payment for your 4^th month of Subscription you will automatically receive your new benefits in addition to the benefits you received before.

Where can I see when I will level up to a different benefit Status?

You will see a VIP icon in your Café (upper right hand corner) which will display your current level. When you click on this icon you will be able to see your current benefits

What will I receive in addition to my current benefits?

FAQ: Buck Amethyst

Hi Chef!

Buck is back and this time he is selling a brand new 7x Ultra Amethyst Stove. 

Here are some frequently asked questions and answers to help you complete the Amethyst goals:

I was trying to place my Amethyst stove, but I lost connection. Now I don't have the stove after I reloaded the game. What happened to my stove?
To place your Amethyst stove, click the stove icon to reveal the quest tasks. Then, click the "Place" button in quest task to place your new Amethyst stove. Keep in mind that you must have a free stove slot if you wish to place a new stove.

Does the Amethyst stove have to be in my cafe in order for me to expand it?
No, the Amethyst stove does not need to be in your inventory in order for you to expand it. Therefore you can unlock all of the burners while it is in your inventory.

Are there any dishes unlocked through the goals?
Yes. If you complete the catering campaign, you will receive recipes and spices.

I just upgraded my 7x 50% Ultra stove and it disappeared. Where did it go?
You can find your new 7x 50% Ultra stove in your inventory.

Will I be able to unlock the burners after the 7X 50% Ultra Stove goals expire?
No, you will not be able to unlock the burners after the 7x 50% Stove goals expire. So, we encourage you to complete the goals before they expire. Good luck!

What happens when I unlock all of the burners before the timer expires?
Once you have completed Gold quest, you will now the newest 7x 50% Ultra Stove!

What happens if I did not unlock any of the burners, but just placed the stove and then the timer expired?
The stove will remain "frozen" in this state and since you did not unlock a burner, you cannot cook on it. So we encourage you to start unlocking burners right away while there is still time.

What happens if I did not unlock all of the burners (for example 2 out of 4 burners) before the timer expired?
The stove will remain "frozen" in this state. Therefore, you cannot unlock the remaining 2 burners. But you will be able to continue using the stove with the 2 burners that you’ve already unlocked.

So given all of the above information, what is the best strategy that you recommend I follow?
Try to unlock as many burners before the timer expires. That way you get a stove with more useable burners per stove slot.

Please check if you have pop-ups from Facebook Applications enabled in your Browser.

How to check when using Firefox:

Go to the Firefox start page and select Settings at the bottom of the page:
Select The Content tab and click on Exceptions next to "Block pop-up windows:



Enter apps.facebook.com in the Address of website field and click "Allow":



You should now be able to send requests to your friends again.


How to enable pop-ups when using Google Chrome:

Select this button and select "Settings":

Select the "Content settings" button under Privacy:



Scroll down to Pop-Ups and select Manage exceptions:

FAQ: Wild Ride

Take a Wild Ride on our 3^rd Year Anniversary
 
How long will the event be available?
Wild Ride will be available until the 30^th September, 12 midnight PDT, the timer in game will be updated shortly.
 
What will be my reward?
Your reward will be an 8x Ultra Stove and 2 6X Ultra stoves for completing all the questlines and the buildable. You will also receive a Cook-o-tron in addition to the stoves if the event is completed in half time, which is 5 days.
 
If you complete day 10 of the quest, you will receive the 3^rd Year Anniversary Cake.
 
How will I get my Stove?
After completing the first 5 days of Wild Ride your first 4 burners will unlock. The other 4 burners will unlock after you complete the entire event and your Stove will upgrade to an 8x Ultra.
 
Where will I find my Stove?
Once you have completed day 1 to day 5, your 80s Stove with 4 unlocked burners will be placed in your inventory.
 
What will I receive as Reward for the Catering Campaign?
For completing the 3 Catering Orders for each Campaign with 3 Stars, in addition to receiving an amazing 1980s and party decoration and unlocking new dishes, you will also receive a 4x Mega Stove.
 
Please note: You will need to complete the catering orders with 3 star rating to win a 4X Mega stove
 
If you complete all 6 Catering Orders for each Campaign with 3 stars, you will receive two 4X Mega Stoves.
 
Will I receive only one unit of the 1980s decorations?
No, you will receive an unlimited supply of the 1980s decoration items.
 
Is the Catering Campaign timed?
Yes, the Catering Campaigns are timed and you will have to complete it before the quest expires.
 
What will my reward be for the Bowling Alley and Dance Floor?
For completing Bowling Alley and Dance Floor, your will get an amazing 6x Ultra stove, as well as dishes and spices.
 
Do I have to complete the Catering Campaign to receive my Wild Ride quest rewards?
No. The rewards for the Wild Ride quest are independent of the Catering Campaigns.
