What does the Phone Booth do?
The Phone Booth allows you to call your travel buddies and get a bonus on the travel passes and other prizes for the 2 Year Anniversary
How does the Phone Booth work?
See this step by step tutorial of using the phone booth:
1) The intro:
2) Phone a Friend 1:
3) Place the Phone Booth in your Cafe
4) Clicking on the Phone Booth:
Friends will be available in the Phone Booth. Typing in a message and then clicking "Post Message" will call your friend by posting a message on their Facebook Wall.
5) Your friends can claim their rewards from your wall post. Please note, you only progress in making calls if your friend has claimed the reward from the wall post.
Why doesn't the goal advance when I call a friend?
In order for the goal to advance your friend must claim the reward that you posted on their wall when you called them, so make sure your friends get on and claim those rewards.
What do I do if the friends in my phone booth don't play Cafe World anymore?
The Phone Booth is designed to help you reconnect with old friends. Though keep an eye on your phone booth, the available friends may change.

PHONE BOOTH not Posting calls to Friends. When I first used the phone booth there were only 15 people and they pick them for you. All of the 15 that they listed do not play the game anymore. Then the added an additional 15 but since then I can't do anything either. It will not let me post. It will state "calling friend" but nothing happens. This is really not fair if we can not send out the requests.... It is bad enough that we can't choose who to send them out to....The stakes are too HIGH not to be able to play. FOOD ITEMS, STOVES & DOUBLE THE TRAVEL PASSES!!!

my Phone Booth was okay for a few days then for some reason my travel buddies' list in Phone Booth disappear. i refresh and refresh but it would come back

ReplyDeleteMy Phone Booth started out okay, I had friends to call only the 'posts' never posted to my friends pages and the next day all my travel buddies that were listed in the Phone Booth disappeared. I've refreshed, and refreshed and refreshed, removed the phone booth and replaced it, redownloaded the latest Adobe Flash player and still nothing. This isn't fair that I have tasks to complete but the item isn't working for me to do anything to move on to my next task. Please advise.

ReplyDeleteI came here for an answer to the phone booth issue where it worked and then on the next day the call list disappears. It has been several days, I see several post but they still do not have a fix.
