Social Raffle Guide

The Raffle Booth is now available in FarmVille!  Now you can trade Raffle Tickets with your Neighbors each day for a chance to win rare exclusive prizes every week.



Placing Your Booth:

First, you will be asked to place the Raffle Booth when entering FarmVille.

 

After clicking the place button, the Raffle Booth will be on your mouse pointer and you can place it on your farm by clicking in an open space.

If you don’t see this, don’t quite have enough room on your farm, or just want to wait until later, don’t worry! You can return to your normal cursor and find the Raffle Booth in your Gift box or the Market for placement later.

Please keep in mind that each farmer can only have one Raffle Booth per farm. Be sure you are placing it on the farm you want to keep it at! It can be placed either on your Home Farm or your English Countryside.  If you want to place a Raffle Booth on your other farm you can buy one in the marketplace.

Inside the Raffle Booth and Redeeming Prizes:

Clicking on the Raffle Booth gives you options to:
·         Look Inside
·         Ask for Tickets
·         Move
·         Sell

Clicking Look Inside will bring you to the Raffle Menu:

Here you can ask your Neighbors for Raffle tickets used to obtain weekly prizes.  When neighbors accept your ticket request, they will appear inside your Raffle Booth ticket row for the day indicating they helped you.  These tickets are used for a chance to win up to 5 prizes with various odds of winning at the end of each week.
·         Farmers receive one free ticket just for placing the feature!
·         You can receive a maximum of 6 Raffle Tickets per day with the help of your neighbors
·         You can receive Raffle Tickets from the same neighbors once per day
·         An unlimited number of Raffle Tickets can be purchased with Farm Cash
·         Neighbors who help their neighbors receive Raffle Tickets will receive one Ticket in return for each neighbor they help.
The number of Raffle Tickets earned each day can be found above the day of the week in the Raffle Booth menu.

Playing the Raffle and Winning Prizes:

At the end of each week, your Raffle Booth will light up and display an arrow above it, indicating it is time to use your weekly earned tickets:

Choose Look Inside to begin the Raffle game.  Your Raffle Booth menu will look like the following:

Click the green Start Raffle button to begin playing for the first item.  A ticket will be pulled and displayed in the center of the menu.  If the number matches a number found on one of your Raffle Tickets, you’ll win the prize!

You will also receive the option to share your prize with the neighbor who provided you with the winning ticket you’ve won a raffle thanks to them:

Note: if you do not want to wait for the number to finish rolling, click the skip button to arrive at the winning Raffle number faster.

After trying for your first prize, click the next button at the bottom of the menu to try for the next prize on the Raffle list:

If the number drawn does not match a number of any of your tickets, you will see this message:

The more tickets you receive per week, the greater your chances are to win prizes.  Be sure to ask neighbors for raffle tickets every day to improve your chances to claim the rarest prizes.  Raffle prizes change [b]once per week[/b], so don’t miss your opportunity to claim them!

Leaderboards in Empires & Allies

What are the Leaderboards and how do they work?

 Leaderboards show you how you stack up with your friends and reward you for getting ahead. 

Currently there are three Leaderboards in Empires & Allies which can be accessed by clicking on the Leaderboards button in the main screen:

Damage Dash

The Damage Dash keeps track of how much damage you and your friends have inflicted on enemy units in the past week.  This includes campaign battles, invading other players, and repelling invaders.  The Damage Dash becomes available to all players starting at Level 4.

Ore Investment

The Ore Investment leaderboard keeps track of how much Ore has been spent in the past week by you and your friends.  The Ore Investment leaderboard becomes available when you unlock Ore mines.

Campaign Progress

Campaign Progress shows how far you are in the campaign compared to your friends.
The Campaign Progress Leaderboard becomes active after the Oil Boom quest.


Prizes and Rewards

Every week, prizes are awarded for your Damage Dash and Ore Investment. 

The first prize you can win is for beating your friends.

If you are in first, second, or third place on your Damage Dash or Ore Investment leaderboards you will receive a trophy you can place on your Empire for all to see!

The second prize is for hitting leaderboard milestones.   Each leaderboard has Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards which are earned by hitting their milestones for the week.  Winners of the Bronze, Silver, or Gold milestones receive a reward for their success.

FAQ:

Q: Where do I find my Go Kart Attraction?
A: You will find it in the build menu, listed under businesses.

Q: Where do I get wrenches?
A: You can request wrenches from your friends when attraction is closed for maintenance.

Q: Does décor placed near attractions provide a bonus payout?
A: Special décor designated for attractions will increase payout when placed in bonus area near attraction.

Getting Started:

1. Place and Build your Go Kart Attraction. Building materials required for completion may be purchased with city cash, or by requesting help from your friends.

2. Click your Go Kart Attraction, in game, to open attraction.
Note: Attractions are only open for a limited amount of time. (Hint: You’ll want to open attractions when you release hotel tourists and cruise ship passengers in your city for maximum payouts.)
3. Hover over your attraction to see timer and how long business will remain open.

4. You will see the familiar money bag icon over your business when the Go Kart attraction closes and it’s time to collect.

5. After you collect from the business, you will notice the wrench above attraction. This will indicate your attraction is closed for maintenance.

6. To re-open the attraction, you will need to wait for the maintenance timer countdown or open sooner by collecting wrenches from your friends! (If you wish to bypass timer and neighbor help, wrenches are available for purchase for CityCash)

Using wrenches to open your attraction before the timer runs out will increase your payouts.

I can't "Ask" for help on Cafe World (fixed)

Hola Chefs!

Many chefs have reported that they cannot "Ask" for help and that their "Ask" button is not working. This is causing great difficulty as chefs are attempting to complete their Lost Pages goals.

The Cafe World team worked to bring back the functionality to your "Ask" buttons and restore order to your kitchens.
