Lots of interest has been expressed over what language is spoken in The Ville. Trained ears will notice the common language spoken amongst characters is Romanian. Characters speaking Romanian was intended and there is no problem with game profiles.Why Romanian?
Good question. We're not sure either. It didn't seem fair to only have the game vocally available in English. We figured why not throw the English speakers a curve and have the game in Romanian?!
Will the game be translated soon?
At this time it is unknown whether the game will be vocally translated in English or any other language. We would like to remind you that The Ville is available in over 15 written languages. Click on the globe icon above the game window to choose from the written language of your choice.
You should instead let the players have the option to change the VOCAL language and not only the written one. Not everyone wants Romanian as they're preferred language...
