Here are common issues players are experiencing in Empires & Allies, along with some suggestions for working around the issues until we have them fixed. Please check back for updates and possible solutions.
Meet the Neighbors Quest
When you begin the game, your Neighbor Ladder is unavailable and unlocked through the "Meet the Neighbors" Quest. You will be able to add friends to your ladder prior to the quest, but you cannot visit them until the Meet the Neighbors is complete. This is by design and not a bug. Please follow the tutorial quests closely and you will be able to invade and assist your friends.
No Empire Points upon Leveling up
In Empires & Allies, there is no Empire Point gain per level up. This is by design and not a game error.
Market Item Increase Error
If you enter an item into your market and sell 50 of them, then leave the market, and return to add more, say another 100, the total will change to 100, but your original 50 will not add up. This also removes the original 50 from your inventory. We are working on a fix for this issue. Meanwhile, please use caution when adding same items to your Market for sale. Reduce your previous count manually through the calculator and then add the total amount of the item you want to sell.
90% Main Loading Page
Players have reported a freeze on the main loading screen bar at 90%, preventing access to the game. There has been a reduction in the amount of players encountering this as we are constantly working on a fix. Please follow our standard Loading instructions here . If you stil have difficulty accessing the game after following the steps, please contact us.

My Empire Points keep disappearing

ReplyDeleteHave played now for two weeks. Keep getting stuck becaue I can not get enough friends to come play. Even low level building need many friends to "Complete" and since we do not get Empire points from leveling I need to wait a full day each time to attack because I need two friends help each time. Getting pretty tedious.

ReplyDeleteokay, problem. empires and allies tells me that i need to defeat captain krunsch, on the cape pleasent mission. the problem is, i have already defeated him, and it shows it on the battle map, but the tasks on the left side of the screen when you are on the home island says i haven't defeatd him yet, even after doing the missions all over again.
ReplyDeleteSo I downloaded Google Chrome as suggested. Still 90% connection. Please stop blaming our setups. They are fine. Others can connect on my computer on search engines other than Google Chrome. I have now tried 4 search engines. My crops are probably dead, am I being invaded?

DeleteI have the same problem as the anonymous four up from me. When I've tried to attack someone back that has invaded me, it says "You can't win this battle on your own. Use a power up!", but I really could win the fight on my own, and then when I click the power up button there are no power ups other than the one that cant be used until I'm level 45 and I'm only level 24, so I cant use it, therefore, until someone else attacks and defeats them, the units I used to try attack them are in combat and cannot be used. Please sort this out ASAP.

ReplyDeleteSo when one of my friends attacks, I can't repel it because it wants me to use a power-up I can't use until 45. I tried refreshing, other computers, other internet sources, everything. Nothing worked and I need to repel attacks. Right now I'm just waiting until they get tired of not being able to visit me and remove the attack by being neutral. :(
#Anonymous: I have exactly the same problem. Im level 28 now, my enemy has 2 cannon (i believe 30 or 40 each), i could win this fight even with my eyes closed. But no, Scarlet tells me i cant win it on my own, need to use a power-up (i dont WANT TO!!), and the only choice i get is the poison gas III, not available until level 45). Even when im on level 45 i dont wanna use it. So, i cant attack my invader. I hate this! ZYNGA! Read these problems and fix them asap! Starting to irritate me. Happy to now tough im not the only one with this problem, so its not my fault.

Players are reporting instances that require the use of a Poison Gas III Power-Up to finish the battle, but the level requirements for the Power-Up become a block to advance past this battle. We are aware of this issue and are currently working hard on a fix.
The leader boards have been out and whenever i try to go to it, it still says "Coming Soon... Leaderboards!" how can i fix this?
ReplyDeleteFull screen mode on a Mac keeps closing on its own when playing Empires. Very frustrating!! starting to hate playing just because of this.
ReplyDeleteUsing the build menu, if you look at "new items" first then any of the other lists, when you hover over the cost icons in these other lists you can see the brown pop up recommending unlock the ability to build etc. Caught me out spending 1000 coins etc to receive nothing. 9th Aug 2011.

Also my Battle Blitz icon is still grey and says "Coming Soon" while every neighbour i have has it active.
This is a great game if Zynga can fix the bugs....the game continuously refresh. You lose your spot and have to redo everything over...WTF is that all about.

i have a problem, maybe someone can help? the game isnt loading, reports that there is a bug and refresh, so the game doesnt start.any ideas?and the second problem i have with naval units-they are blury and cant be moved and they dont exist-like they are in a fight,but there is no fight.

DeleteThe damage counter on units is glitchy... I dealt about 2 hundred damage on a enemy unit with less than 100 health and then more than half the damage dissappears... wasted me about 40 energy already

ReplyDeleteI have a problem in the 'First Aid Frenzy Task'. Iam stuck in the "Tribal Truama" and "A Pretend Friend" sub-tasks. Whenever I select friends and send request for "binding ropes" and "felt fedora" my game logs off. This has been happening since the last four days.
