Gnome Garden Guide!

There's no place like Gnome! The Gnomes on your Farm have been anxiously waiting for a place they can call home. Luckily, the Gnome Garden has arrived with more than enough space for Gnomes of all shapes and sizes. What do you say, will you help them out?

Note: If you don’t place it immediately on your farm, you can find it in your giftbox. If you do not automatically receive a Gnome Garden, you can purchase one from the “Buildings” section of the Market for zero coins. You must be level 15 before you can use the Gnome Garden.

Placing the Gnome Garden:

A Green illumination around the Gnome Garden will glow over open placement areas on your farm.

Once placed on your Farm, you will have the following five options:

  • Look Inside – View your progress
  • Ask for Parts – Ask your friends for Materials to build/expand your Gnome Garden
  • Complete Now – Pay Farm Cash to complete one stage of your Gnome Garden.
  • Move – Rearrange your Gnome Garden on your farm
  • Sell – Sell your Gnome Garden

Looking Inside

Selecting “Look Inside” will open up the building Menu. The building Menu will show you how many parts you will need to complete the Gnome Garden. Until you finish building the Gnome Garden, you will be unable to store Gnomes inside it.

There are four ways of obtaining the Materials you need to complete your Gnome Garden:

  • Ask for More – Send requests for Materials to your friends and Neighbors
  • Send Materials – Send Materials to your Friends from the Free Gifts Tab
  • Buy Materials – Buy Materials directly from the Market/Gnome Garden Menu
  • Feeds – Click on your applicable friends feeds to claim Materials

Once you have collected 12 Toadstool, 12 Tiny Window, and 12 Garden Fence, you will receive the following pop up:

Clicking the “Share” button on this pop-up will post a feed to your wall.

You may have one Gnome Garden on each of your Farms. (Home Farm, English Countryside, Lighthouse Cove, Hawaiian Paradise, and Winter Wonderland).

Using the Gnome Garden:

Now that your Gnome Garden is complete, it’s time to start collecting Gnomes! Click on the “look inside” button to open up your Gnome Garden Menu.

This menu shows how many Gnomes you currently have in your Gnome Garden.

You can also purchase Gnomes from the Gnome Garden Menu and the Market.

If you would like to remove Gnomes from the Gnome Garden, simply hover your cursor over the Gnomes. You will see a “Remove” button. Clicking this button will allow you to remove one of whichever type of Gnome you select.

Storing Gnomes in the Gnome Garden:

To store Gnomes in the Gnome Garden select the "Multi-Tool" menu in the bottom right corner and select the "Move Tool." When the cursor turns into a hand, click on the Gnome that you would like to store and the hand will pick-up the Gnome.

Move the Gnome onto the Gnome Garden and place it in the Gnome Garden.

Expanding your Gnome Garden

To hold the maximum amount of Gnomes and unlock the best looking Gnome Garden, you will need to fully expand it. Use Toadstool, Tiny Window, and Garden Fence to expand your Gnome Garden. When fully expanded, your Gnome Garden will hold 500 Gnomes.

To start expanding, click on the “Expand” button at the top of the Gnome Garden interface.

Once you have done this, you will see the following menu. This menu will update with the required number of parts needed each time you complete a stage of the Gnome Garden. If you do not wish to collect parts, you can complete the stage you are currently working on (for Farm Cash) by clicking the “Complete Now” button.

As you expand, your Gnome Garden will continue to get more visually impressive.

Note: To unlock your Gnome Garden's full visual potential you will have to upgrade your Gnome Garden and store a certain amount of Gnomes in the Gnome Garden. (Requirements shown below)
