FAQ - YoVille VIP Membership

Q: What is YoVille VIP Membership?
A:  YoVille VIP Membership is a recurring monthly subscription for YoVille with incredible benefits! You need to pay a recurring monthly subscription fee to avail these awesome benefits.

Q: What do I receive if I sign up for a VIP Membership?
A: When you purchase the YoVille VIP Membership, you get the following benefits:

 - Free 15 YoCash every week (Maximum of 4 times a month)
 - Access to an Exclusive Furniture Store
 - Special discount on selected Furniture items (includes existing Furniture items as well!)
 - 1 Complimentary Hair of your choice from each new theme’s first release

Undoubtedly there are added benefits for continuous subscribers. You will be entitled to receive the added benefits from the third continuous month of your VIP Membership Plan! This will be applicable to all old as well as new subscribers and will be considered from the date of subscription and you will be automatically upgraded to a VIP Gold Member and be entitled to receive the following benefits at no extra cost:

-All existing VIP Membership Benefits
-Additional 5 Yocash Every Week! (Maximum of 4 times a month)
-An additional free hair from the second release of every theme!

Please note that if you cancel your membership and re-subscribe, these benefits will be revoked and you will have to wait for the third month of VIP Membership to receive them once again.

Q: How do I find the Furniture Items which are exclusive for VIP Members or are discounted for VIP Members?
A: 
Please visit the Furniture Store by clicking on Map>Furniture Store and navigate to the VIP Furniture Store.

In the VIP Furniture Store, you will see 2 sub-stores named “VIP Exclusive Furniture Stores” and “VIP Exclusive Discount Stores”. Visit these stores to buy VIP exclusive items or to avail discounts on selected Furniture items.

Q: When will I start receiving the Free weekly YoCash?
A: Once you sign up for VIP Membership, you will receive 15 Free YoCash every week and an additional 5 YoCash per week if you are a VIP Gold Member. The Free YoCash will be credited to your account once every 7 days(maximum of 4 times a month) starting from the date you sign up for VIP Membership.

For Example: If you signed up for VIP Membership on Wednesday, August 3rd 2012, you will receive 15 Free YoCash on the same day that you subscribe and next free weekly YoCash on 10th August, 17th August and 24th August. Since, you can get it only 4 times a month, the next 15 free YoCash (or 20 YoCash if you are a VIP Gold Member)  would be credited when you renew your VIP membership on 3rdSeptember 2012.
 
Q: Can I choose any complimentary Hair of my choice?
A: 
As a VIP Member, you will be entitled to claim 1 Complimentary hair of your choice only from the first release of any new theme. Please note that this does not apply to the subsequent releases of the same theme. Both Male and Female hairstyles will be available for VIP Members to choose from.

As a VIP Gold Member, you will be entitled to claim 1 complimentary hair of your choice from the first and second release of any new theme. Please note this does not apply to the releases thereafter.

Q: What is meant by “subsequent release of the same theme”?
A
: Usually, the Items related to each YoVille theme are released in parts every week. A theme in YoVille may have multiple releases including but not limited to – Items, Clothing, Accessories, Hair and more.
Being a VIP Member, you will be entitled to claim 1 complimentary hair from the firsthair release of each theme.
Being a VIP Gold Member, you will be entitled to claim 1 complimentary hair from the first and second hair release of each theme.

For Example: A new theme named “XYZ” releases on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 and includes an initial release of 8 hairstyles (both Male and Female).
As a VIP Member, you will be entitled to claim any 1 complimentary hair of your choice from the pool of these 8 hairstyles. Your next choice of complimentary hair will be available on the launch of the next new theme.

As a VIP Gold Member, you will be entitled to claim any 1 complementary hair of your choice from the first release and you would be able to choose 1 complimentary hair from the second release of the same theme as well.

Q: How long will my complimentary Hair be available?
A: 
You will need to claim your complimentary hair before the timers on the Hair (first release of a new theme) expire.  Please ensure that you watch out for the timers in the YoVille VIP Salon.

Q: How can I claim my complimentary Hair if I am a VIP Member?
A: 
When a free hair is available to be claimed, you will be notified through an in-game pop-up. Alternatively, you can visit the Salon and check for the complimentary hair availability.

Q: How much does the YoVille VIP Membership cost? What are the modes of payment?
A: 
The VIP Membership costs $17.99 per month and is a recurring payment. You can either pay through your Credit Card or PayPal account through Facebook Subscriptions.

Q: Will the subscription renew automatically?
A: 
Yes, this is a recurring payment. Your subscription for YoVille VIP Membership starts from the date you purchase the Membership and you will continue to be billed on the same day of every month unless you cancel the subscription.

Q: Which payment options does Facebook support for VIP Membership?
A: Currently, Facebook accepts major Credit cards and PayPal as a mode of payment for VIP Membership.

Q: If I have purchased from Facebook before, do I need to enter my payment details again?
A: If your payment details are already saved with Facebook, you do not need to enter them again.

Q: Why do I see the VIP Membership priced in a different currency on Facebook?
A: If you’ve set a preferred currency other than USD in Facebook account settings, Facebook will automatically convert the current price of the Membership ($17.99 USD) into your preferred currency.  All monthly payments will also be made in the same currency and the conversion will be based on the current Foreign Exchange rate at the time of the payment.

Q: How do I sign up?
A: It is easy to sign up for YoVille VIP Membership. Please follow the steps listed below.
Step 1: Please click on the “Subscriptions” tab on the top navigation bar:

Step 2: Click on the “Buy” link which will present a pop-up in the game as shown below:

Step 3: Click on “Buy now for $17.99” button to initiate sign up for VIP Membership.

Step 4: When you click on the button in Step 3, you will be navigated to Zynga Subscriptions payment page which will have the details of the monthly Membership payment. Please click on Subscribe to proceed to next steps:

Step 5: This will bring you to the Facebook Payments screen where you can choose the mode of payment and enter payment details to proceed further:

Step 7: Once your payment is successfully submitted, you will be notified through a confirmation pop-up:

Q: How can I change my credit card or PayPal details after signing up for VIP Membership?
A: 
Once you have signed up for VIP Membership, you’ll need to update details of any change in Credit card or PayPal account directly in Facebook. Please follow the below steps to update your payment information in Facebook:

Click on the “Subscription” link on the top navigation bar and select “Manage”:

After clicking on “Manage”, you will be able to see the details of your VIP Membership. Please click on Subscription Details for further options:

Click on the Update link to update your current Payment details (PayPal / Credit Card):

Q: How can I cancel my VIP Membership?
A: 
If you are an existing VIP Member, you can cancel your VIP Membership by following the steps below:

Click on “Subscription” > “Manage”

Confirm the cancellation by clicking on “Cancel Subscription” button:

Q: If I cancel the VIP Membership before the end of the month do I get a partial refund?
A:  Your benefits will remain intact until your subscription expires on your next renewal date. You will not receive a partial refund while you are enjoying these benefits. You will not receive any future billing from us once you cancel the subscription.

Q: If I cancel the VIP Membership, do I lose the VIP Membership benefits which I received while I was a member?
A:  The VIP Membership benefits which you have already received from game for being a VIP member will remain intact in your account until the Membership expires. After you cancel the VIP Membership, you will continue to receive benefits till the next renewal date (on which your VIP Membership will expire).

Q: How can I reinstate a cancelled VIP Membership? Will I be charged again if I reactivate VIP Membership before it expires?
A:  If you have cancelled your VIP Membership and it hasn’t expired yet, you can choose to reinstate the subscription by clicking on the “Reinstate Your Subscription” link as shown below. If your VIP Membership hasn’t expired, you will not be charged for reactivating it.
