  3. Check your email for a verification message from Google to activate your Checkout account.

How do I change my Google Checkout payment information?

You can change the payment information saved in your Google Checkout account at any time.  However, please keep in mind that you’ll need at least one payment method saved in your Checkout account to make purchases or receive refunds.

To add, edit, or delete a credit/debit card:

  1. Sign in to your Google Checkout account at https://checkout.google.com.
  2. Click Edit payment methods on the left side of the page.
  3. Enter your credit/debit card details under Add a new payment method or click Edit or Delete under an existing credit/debit card you’d like to change.

  2. In your Purchase History, click View Order.
  3. Your order receipt will show your order number and history, along with a link to contact Zynga directly.

What should I do if my order couldn’t be processed?

If you receive a message notifying you that your order couldn’t be completed, your good won’t be delivered, and your credit/debit card won’t be charged. Google recommends waiting at least 24 hours before you place a new order so that any temporary issues can be resolved.

You might notice activity on your credit/debit card for an order that couldn’t be processed, but please rest assured that your card wasn’t actually charged! The amount you see on your billing statement is an authorization to verify the validity of a credit/debit card. Authorizations will automatically expire within 1-14 business days, depending on your bank.

What happens if my credit/debit card is declined?

If your credit/debit card is declined, your order will automatically be cancelled. To update your payment information, sign in to your Google Checkout account athttps://checkout.google.com and click Edit payment methods. Once you’ve successfully updated your billing credentials, you’re free to place a new order for your good.

If your card was declined, please double check that you’ve:

  • Entered the entire card number without any spaces or dashes
  • Verified that your card hasn’t expired and entered the correct expiration date
  • Entered the correct Card Verification Code (CVC)
  • Confirmed that the billing address listed in your Google Checkout account matches the billing address that appears on your credit/debit card statement

Why are there duplicate or unexpected charges from Google on my billing statement?

If there are multiple line items from Google on your billing statement, you may be seeing an authorization, not an actual charge. An authorization is the initial communication between Google’s billing system and your bank’s billing system to verify that a credit/debit card is valid. Authorizations will expire automatically, but they can remain in your bank account for 1-14 business days, depending on the bank. You can confirm that you weren’t charged twice for the same item by logging in to your Google Checkout account at
https://checkout.google.com to review your orders.

You may also see a temporary $1.00 authorization on your bank statement if you’ve added a new credit/debit card to your Google Checkout account or if you’ve changed your existing payment information. Authorizations expire automatically within a few business days, and your card won’t actually be charged.

If you’ve reviewed your Google Checkout account and bank statement and believe that unauthorized charges still remain, please contact Google directly athttps://checkout.google.com/support/bin/request.py?contact_type=contact_policy&policy=inapp.
