Alastair's Questline

Note: This questline appears when placing the Magic Torch Shop for the questline above.

With the shop placed, we can create a variety of enchanted torches. Below is some additional information on how this features works:

The “Magic Torch Shop” lets you craft two new Torches:
- The Magic Torch of Haste, which allows you to accelerate crafting times on ALL Crafting buildings.
- The Magic Torch of Romance, which lets you collect Love Diamonds from houses that you need to complete the quests above.

These torches are stack-able. The more you place near an object that is affected by the Torches power, the stronger the Torches effect. For example, placing more and more Magic Torches of Haste near the same crafting building makes crafting timers speedup even more. 

Quest 1

Quest tasks

• Craft 1 Magic Torch of Romance
• Place 1 Magic Torch of Romance Near Houses
• Tax 1 House Affected by the Magic Torch of Romance's Glow

Quest rewards

• 2000 Coins
• 40 XP

Once placed, a Magic Torch cannot be moved. After taxing 4 houses affected by the glow of a Magic Torch of Romance, it loses its power.

• Place 4 Magic Torches of Romance near one house
• Collect 5 Love Diamonds

• 2500 Coins
• 50 XP

You've got the Magic Torch of Romance down pat. Time to expand your magical gifts. The Magic Torch of Haste reduces crafting times. It expires after 24 hours, so get as much use out of it as you can!

• Craft 2 Iron Bars
• Craft 2 Berry Scones

• Craft 5 Magic Torches of Haste & Place Near Crafting Buildings
• Clear 10 Expired Torches

Note: To clear a torch, click on it when its glow has expired to remove it from your Kingdom.

• 65 XP
• 1 Huge Energy Potion
