Fat Pebble Keeps the Ball Rolling With Clay Jam, the Latest Zynga Mobile Game

One of the First Claymation, Physics Based Monster-Action Mobile Games for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

SAN FRANCISCONov. 29, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fat Pebble, an independent game studio based in Brighton, UK, and Zynga, (Nasdaq:ZNGA), the world's leading provider of social game services, today announced Clay Jam, the fifth mobile game to launch under the Zynga Partners for Mobile Program. Clay Jam is one of the only mobile games available made entirely from clay. Available today from the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, and Google Play, Clay Jam is a completely unique game that combines Claymation and crisp stop motion graphics into one truly dynamic monster squashing game.
Brought to life by the Fat Pebble team looking to make a reputation for innovation and creativity, Clay Jam transports players and their ball of clay into Beardy's Bluff, a colorful obstacle course of molded claymation monsters. The more monsters players squash along the way, the bigger and faster the ball rolls until the end of the course comes into sight. As players progress in the game and score points, they access new clay course themes and new monsters to roll over.
Clay Jam is easy to play but difficult to master and every swipe and flick counts. Some unique features and game play highlights include:
  • Swipe to Squash: Clay Jam game play consists of one simple goal: squishing and squashing as many monsters as you can. To do so, players must swipe away at the clay course to direct their ball into the monsters. When a monster gets mashed the game intensifies, and the players' ball of clay grows bigger and rolls faster down the hill.
  • Flick to Win: As the ball approaches the end of the course, the last step is to flick the ball to propel it high and far. The further it goes the more points a player racks up at the end.
  • Unlock and Power Up: Once players gather enough points, they can unlock new levels, themes and monsters like Noodles, Bear Faceand Heavy Head!
  • Quest On: Over 130 quests and five hills for players to conquer. Once a hill is complete, players receive trophies.
"We have obsessed over the weird and wobbly clay monsters in the game and think Fat Pebble and Zynga players all over the world will enjoy the many exciting features packed into Clay Jam as much as we do," said Iain Gilfeather at Fat Pebble. "We're thrilled to be launching Clay Jam as a part of the Zynga Partners for Mobile program. Zynga has given us the opportunity to bring our clay rolling and squashing game to more players than we'd ever be able to reach on our own, while also expanding Zynga's mobile portfolio."
