Gems with Friends - Game Functions

Hello Gem Masters!

Here are some basic game functions that you should know:

Chatting with an Opponent

Send a message or converse with your opponent through the Chat option. Simply tap 'Chat' at the top right of the game screen to type and send a message to your opponent.

Resign and Delete a game

For Gems with Friends, you can create up to 20 games simultaneously. It's designed to be played at a flexible pace.Some opponents are faster than others, so we like to give everyone a fair chance to play. However, if your opponent does not make a move in a reasonable amount of time, the game will be automatically resigned. For random games, it's 5 days without a move. For all other games, it's 11 days.

• To resign from a game:

Tap 'Resign' to end the game. However, you can only resign when it is your turn.

• To delete completed games:

For iOS: Delete completed games by swiping your finger to the right over the game and tapping the 'Delete' button.

For Android: Tap and hold until the 'Delete' button appears.

Tutorials and Additional Help

Tutorials walk you through the game when you first start playing. Once you have viewed the tutorial on time through, it is automatically turned off. You can also turn it off by tapping the 'X' at the top right of a tutorial pop up. If you want to go through the Tutorial again, tap 'Options' from the game's main screen, tap 'Help Pages', then tap the Gems Gameplay Tutorial button.

We also have an in-game Help Center. Tap 'Options' on the game's main screen, then tap the Help Pages button and you'll see different Help pages like the Gems Gameplay Tutorial, Gems Scoring Tips, and Gem App Support.
