CityVille will be Shutting Down

Dear Citizens,

CityVille will be shutting down on April 30, 2015.

Thank you for supporting CityVille and for joining us on our city building journey. If you currently have coins or cash in your CityVille account, you can use them to access the game’s current content until April 30, 2015.

As a reward for being a loyal CityVille player, we have a special thank you gift for you in either FarmVille 2 or CastleVille Legends.

Log into CityVille to choose which game you would like to receive your special thank you gift in.

Note: You must have an existing account in the game you wish to receive the thank you gift. If you do not have an account in one of these games, but want to start playing, please create your account before requesting your gift. 

> When is CityVille shutting down?

We're sorry to announce that CityVille will be closing on April 30, 2015.

After that time, the game will no longer be available. We also want to help you find new games to play and enjoy. We would like to offer you a one time, complimentary bonus package in either FarmVille 2 and CastleVille Legends. The option to migrate to one of these games will be active until April 30, 2015

> How does the Bonus package work?

Choose the game in which you would like to receive the bonus package. The games in which you can redeem this one-time bonus package are: FarmVille 2, & CastleVille Legends

Load CityVille on FB and in the pop up message, enter the email address where you would like to receive the details from Zynga Customer Support.

Click on the 'Accept Offer' button.

> What if I already have an account in the other game?

The bonus package will be added to the existing account.

> Can I have the bonus package credited to a different account?

The package will be added to the same Facebook account only.

> What if I don't have an account in the other game?

Please ensure that you have created an account in the other game, before redeeming the bonus package. We will not be able to add the bonus package unless you have an account in the game you wish the package to be added to.

> Can we purchase items in the game?

You will be able to buy items for CityCash until the game shuts down. You will not be able to buy new CityCash. You will not be able to purchase items for cash from now (3/2/15) onward.

> Why can't I invite friends to the game?

We have disabled the 'Invite Friends' feature as new users cannot play the game any longer.
