How to identify official Facebook Fan pages for Zynga Games

Hi!

Scammers and Hackers often create Facebook pages that look very convincing and similar to our official Fan pages. They may use Zynga images to try to trick you into believing that they're legitimate.

Watch out for Facebook pages that offer unofficial chip/cash/coin deals, tools such as bots, or other options that are "too good to be true", but which you think might give you an edge when playing. All of these options expose you to being taken advantage of and ruining your play experience.

Occasionally, Zynga does offer legitimate in-game extras on official Zynga pages. Please check official Zynga sources to confirm a legitimate promotion before clicking on what may be a fake offer. If the source of the message is not an official Zynga page, these messages are likely not from us.

It is important to us that you know the difference between official and fake Fan pages!

1. The best way to check our official Fan Pages is through this article.

2. Blue Badge

Many of our Fan pages are verified by Facebook to let our players know that they are authentic. Pages that are verified by Facebook have the blue badge right next to the page name.

Please note: Not all our official Fan Pages have this blue badge yet. If a page does not have a blue badge or you are unsure, please refer to this article to find the official fan page for your game.

3. Links

Links that are being posted on official Fan Pages should always start with zynga.tm. Be wary of other URL shorteners or links posted in the comments. If in doubt, or if it's too good to be true, don't click on it!

4. We will never ask you for any personal information, your login/password or to download anything.

Kind Regards,
