FarmVille - Cannot post to Facebook?

We have identified the issue with Feed Posts and our team is currently working closely with Facebook to have it resolved at the earliest.

Meanwhile, as a work-around, we have made a small change to help you publish Feed Posts. All manual feed posts will appear as a browser pop-up instead of a Facebook overlay.

In other words, you will be required to allow all pop-ups from "https://apps.facebook.com" on your browser to be able to post feeds manually, until we fix this issue permanently. Please read below for detailed instructions. 

Is your game is freezing when trying to post a feed? 

Please remember to click "Post on Facebook" and close the Facebook Feed pop-up window to avoid game freezing. Please re-load the game in case the game still appears to be frozen.

We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused and hope to have a permanent fix for this issue very soon.

If you have allowed posting permissions to FarmVille (auto-posting), you should be able to post without any issues. In case you have revoked the permissions, you can grant again using this link:http://zynga.tm/g0EVH

Instructions to allow pop-ups from apps.facebook.com:

You can choose to allow the pop-ups when your browser prompts you, as shown below.

 

 

In order to specifically add “apps.facebook.com” to your browser pop-up exceptions list, please refer to the steps below:

On Chrome:

1. Open Chrome.
2. Copy and paste this link on the address bar and press enter to open the pop-up exceptions manager:chrome://settings/contentExceptions#popups

1. Type in “apps.facebook.com” as shown below to allow pop-ups

You can also access the pop-up exceptions window by following these steps:

1. In the top-right corner, click the icon you see: Menu  or More .
2. Click Settings.
3. Click Show advanced settings.
4. Under "Privacy," click the Content settings button.
5. Under "Pop-ups," click Manage exceptions.

1. Paste or type the following on the address bar to access settings:

2. In the Allowed Site - Pop-ups section, enter “apps.facebook.com” and click “Allow”

We are getting reports that players cannot post to Facebook as the share window just keeps on loading. Our team has already been informed and rest assured that we are working on this situation. 

While we are working on a fix, we have a workaround that might allow affected players to post once again. Please click this link to enable auto-posting in the app settings ( http://zynga.tm/g0EVH) instead of re-installing the game. 

Note: If auto-post is already enabled, the link will directly load the game.
