Guide to European District


Make more room in your city by building the European District!

  • Q: What are the pre-requisites for this feature?
    A: This feature is available to players Level 23+. Note: This feature is gradually rolling out to more players.
  • Q: How many European residences, businesses and Community Buildings can I place in the European District??
    A: Up to 36!
  • Q: Can I build more than one (1) European District?
    A: Yes you can buy multiple European Districts. You will receive 1 to place through the quest and any more you want to purchase will cost 50,000 Coins each.

  • Q: Which residences, businesses and Community Buildings can I place in the European District??
    A: Only European Buildings will fit in this District. To find out which European items work visit the Build Menu and type "Europe" in the Search Bar.
  • Q: How can I tell if a building will go into one of the sections of my district before I purchase it?
    A: To see if a building will go into one of the sections in your European District before you purchase it, type "Europe" in the Build Menu Search Bar.
  • Q: Does the European District neighborhoods drop population "doobers" (moving trucks that increase your population)?
    A: Yes, there is a chance to randomly receive these and increase your population every time you collect from your neighborhoods; as long as not all the residences in that neighborhood are at maximum population.
  • Q: Will residences, businesses, and Community Buildings placed in the European District still count towards quests?
    A: No, if a quest requires you to have a specific residence you would have to remove it from your neighborhood and placed it in your city; if a quest requires you to collect from a specific residence you would have to remove it from your neighborhood, place it in your city, and collect from it as many times as needed.
  • Q:What happens if I remove the European District?
    A: It will be sold back to the game for coins.


  • Q: Will current decorations affect District bonuses?
    A: No, but you will receive a special decorations by completing the associated quests.
  • Q: Can I upgrade the European District?
    A: Yes, you can upgrade it to hold more buildings. Please see part 2 of this guide for more information.
  • Q: Will the European Mall, Neighborhood and City Center in the European District appearance change with each upgrade level?
    A: Yes, it will!

Step by Step Guide: Building Yours!
  1. Once you have reached Level 23 you will see the following quest icon and receive the quest to build the European District.






    Note: You can also find this district in the build menu under the Specials -> Europe tab.
  2. Place the European District through quest or Build Menu to start to build it.




    Note: There are no clicks to build when placing from quest.
  3. Once the European District is built, you will see a door icon appear. Click on the European Mall, European Neighborhood or European Civic Center to open their menus.


  4. Click on the "Fill" button to place a residence inside your European neighborhood. Click on the "Fill" button to place a business inside your European Mall.Click on the "Fill" button to place a Community Building inside your European Civic Center.



  5. All buildings of applicable type will be highlighted in your City.



  6. Click on the desired residence, community building, business to place it inside your European District.

  7. You will be able to collect rent from your European Mall, European Neighborhood, and European Civic Center the same way you currently collect from malls, neighborhoods and government center. You will see a countdown clock over that section of your district once it's ready to collect you will see a coin symbol above it.



  8. Select the coin to collect from that section of your district; once you click you will see the following pop-up informing you how much energy collecting from the currently selected neighborhood will cost you.



Step by Step Guide: Upgrading!

    A: Yes.
  • Q: Do I need to upgrade each section of my European District individually?
    A: Yes.
  • Q: Will I lose neighborhood upgrades if I delete my neighborhood?
    A: Yes.
  • Q: Will my European Mall, European Neighborhood or European Civic Center change appearance with each upgrade?
    A: Yes.
  • Q:How many parts are required for each upgrade for each section?
    A: Please see the following list (hint: several neighborhoods use the same parts):

  • European Neighborhood
    • 1st upgrade: 5 different parts, 5 of each.
    • 2nd upgrade: 5 different parts, 5 of each
  • European Mall
    • 1st upgrade: 5 different parts, 5 of each.
    • 2nd upgrade: 5 different parts, 5 of each
  • European Civic Center
    • 1st upgrade: 5 different parts, 5 of each.
    • 2nd upgrade: 5 different parts, 5 of each
  1. Once each position is unlocked, you will be able to started the upgrade. Note: that you do not have to fill each unlocked space to upgrade to the next level, you just have to unlock them.
  2. When your neighborhood is ready to be upgraded you will see the green arrow icon on top of it.



  3. Click on the arrow to start the upgrade and you will see what parts are needed. You can get these by sending requests to your friends and posting requests to your feed, as well as by purchasing them with City Cash. Once you have gathered all the parts, just click on "Finish Building" to complete the construction.





    Note: Upgrading to level 2 works the same way (please see the summary FAQ for the list of materials required). Once you have fully upgraded that section of your district you will be able to fill up to to maximum capacity of 12 residences, community buildings or businesses.
  4. Once you have upgraded a section of your European District you will see visual changes.

  1. In me City Vile the European District is built, but I dont see a door icon !!!! Thay dont appear.:(
    hope will change :( soon :)
