What are the prerequisites for this feature?	This feature is available to players level 25+.
What is the Lakefront Portal?	The Lakefront Portal is an item that will be placed on your map that you will need to expand to and build. You will need to complete the Drawbridge and canal in order to use the portal that will allow you to travel to your Lakefront area.
How to I build the Canal?	You will need to collect bulldozers to build the Canal. You can do this by asking friends or by purchasing bulldozers with city cash.
How do I build the Drawbridge?	You will need to ask friends for building parts: Drawbridge Axle, Drawbridge Deck, Drawbridge Portcullis, Bridge Counterweight and Drawbridge Windlass. Alternatively, you can purchase the parts with city cash. You will also need to collect rivets from Lakefront themed buildings, which can be found in the build menu.
Will I see visual changes when building?	Yes.
When the portal is fully built, can I store it in my inventory?	Yes, you will be able to access the Lakefront by either the portal or through the tools menu.

Building Yours

• If you are level 25 and above you will see the following quest icon and receive the associated quest:
  
  
  
  
  
  
• You can start working on building both the Canal and Drawbridge simultaneously, but you will need to continuously expand to the Drawbridge to complete it.
  
  
  
  
• The Canal will require you to ask friends for bulldozers. Once you have collected the required amount of bulldozers, you can then complete the Canal.
  
  
  
  
• The Drawbridge will require you to ask friends for building parts: Drawbridge Axle, Drawbridge Deck, Drawbridge Portcullis, Bridge Counterweight and Drawbridge Windlass. Alternatively, you can purchase the required building materials with city cash. You will also need to collect rivets from Lake themed buildings, which can be found in the build menu. You can click on the "Build" button to take you directly to the Lakefront themed buildings.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Once you complete your Drawbridge, you will get the following rewards:
  
  
  
  
• After completion of both the Drawbridge and Canal, you will then be able to go to the Lakefront through a variety of ways.
  
  • You can travel through the Drawbridge portal
    
    
    
    
  • You can click in the upper right corner of the game screen when you see the following:
    
    
    
    
  • You can travel there by using the Lakefront icon found just to the right of your cities name (above neighbor ladder):
    
    
  
  
• Once there you will see 2 expansion spaces unlocked and will receive: Coleman Cabin, Lakefront Lodge Population 2500/4500, 3 Redwood Trees and Roads.
  
  
  
  
• When you are finished playing in your new Lakefront area, you can return to the main city via the portal.
