We know there's a bit of confusion out there regarding the use of the Daily Bonus Doubler that was introduced with the Town Hall building and how it works. Hopefully this short guide will stem further confusion (note there's also a bugs section at the bottom, be sure to pay attention to that in case you're encountering some common issues).
First off, in order to get access to use the Daily Bonus Doubler you need to have Phase 2 of the Town Hall constructed. It looks like this:
Clicking on the Town Hall in this state will bring up its menu, which for the first time looks like this:
You start off with the ability to use the Daily Bonus Doubler immediately. If you click on the "Daily Doubler" button it'll activate. If you're on Phase 2 of the Town Hall, you'll get 30 seconds to collect bonuses off of your other buildings and get double the rewards. The more you build up the Town Hall, the longer you'll have to collect daily bonuses (Phase 3 will get you 50 seconds, for instance). A timer will show up over your avatar:
Once you're done, when you return to the Town Hall menu the "Daily Doubler" menu choice will change to something like this:
A timer will show up next to the word "Reset". This is the amount of time it'll take for you to get your next free Daily Bonus Doubler (the default time is 96 hours). However you can bypass this cooldown timer by crafting a Daily Bonus Doubler Reset. You can get to this crafting screen by clicking on "Craft" button in the Town Hall menu or clicking on the reset timer itself:
Once you have the parts you need, click on "Create" and one will be crafted and ready in your inventory. Remember: you're not crafting the bonus itself but the ability to reset the cooldown timer in order to use the Daily Bonus Doubler.
Now go back to the Town Hall menu and click on the "Reset" timer button again. This will actually turn off the cooldown timer and you'll get Frontier Jack telling you that the Daily Bonus Doubler is now ready to use:
Now you have to click on the Town Hall menu again. Notice that the "Daily Doubler" button is back and the cooldown timer has disappeared. Click on it whenever you want to use the Daily Bonus Doubler again.
That's pretty much it. Every time you use the Daily Bonus Doubler, it re-starts the cooldown timer back to 96 hours. If you don't reset it with the item you can craft, you'll get the ability to use it again when the timer goes to 0.

- The cooldown timer for the Daily Bonus Doubler may say 24 hours instead of 96. This was not intended and should be 96 hours (4 full days). If yours says 24 hours and it works, well, enjoy that while it lasts
- For some people, the "Daily Doubler" button may appear in the Town Hall menu but when you click on it nothing happens. We've figured out why it's doing this and will be fixed on Thursday.
