Gem Mine Guide

Hey Farmers! Start building your Gem Mine today to collect some awesome gem-themed prizes, as well as Gems to redeem for even more prizes in the Gem Tower!

Playing Gem Mine

You will have a limited amount of time to complete each challenge. If you complete a challenge before the time limit is up and would like to start the next one ahead of time, you may unlock the next level for 10 FC.


Stage 1: Get Permits

Requirements:
Collect 2 permits to start building a Gem Mine. Do this by:

• Posting a request to your News Feed for permits, or…
• Completing the level for 30 FC

Reward: Gem Turtle

Stage 2: Cart System

Requirements:
Collect parts for the Cart System before the time limit runs out! Do this by:

• Get 7 Mining Carts (post to feed or buy parts for 2 FC each)
• Get 7 Mining Tracks (post to feed or buy parts for 2 FC each)
• Get 7 Track Switches (send request directly to your friends, get from feeds of friends who are sharing, or buy parts for 1 FC each)
  
  You may also:
• Complete level instantly for 35 FC

Reward: Gem Cart Gnome (It’s animated!)

Stage 3: Building Crew

Invite 4 of your friends to join the Gem Mine Building Crew!

Requirements:

• Get 4 friends to join the Building Crew by sending a request directly to them.
  
  You may also:
• Complete the level for 30 FC

Reward: Cat’s Eye Tree

Stage 4: Mining Helmets

Requirements:
Collect 4 Mining Helmets to protect your Crew! Do this by:

• Posting a request to your feed. Friends can send you Helmets.
• Clicking on friends’ feeds. When you send someone a Helmet, one is applied to your task as well.
• Completing the level for 30 FC

Reward: Miner Outfit

Stage 5: Flume

Requirements:
Gather parts for the Flume before time runs out. You will need:

• 9 Flume Panels (post to feed or purchase for 2 FC each)
• 9 Flume Posts(post to feed or purchase for 2 FC each)
• 9 Flume Filters (send request directly to friends or purchase for 1 FC each)
  
  You may also:
• Complete the level for 45 FC

Reward: Tiger’s Eye Tree

Share: Gem Polish

Stage 6: Gemologists

Requirements: 

• Get 8 friends to be Gemologists and help you identify the gem (send requests directly to friends)
  
  Your may also:
• Complete the level instantly for 30 FC

Reward: Quartz Rose Bloom

Stage 7: Mine Plans

Requirements:
Collect 6 Sets of Mine Plans to plan out your Mine! Do this by:

• Posting a request to your feed. Friends can send you Plans.
• Clicking on friends’ feeds. When you send someone a Plan, one is applied to your task as well.
• Completing the level for 30 FC

Reward: Sapphire Stallion

Stage 8: Gem Washer

Requirements:
Gather parts for the Gem Washer before time runs out. You will need:

• 11 Wash Tubs (post to feed or purchase for 2 FC each)
• 11 Wash Solutions (post to feed or purchase for 2 FC each)
• 11 Gem Polish (send request directly to friends, get from friends’ feeds who are sharing, or purchase for 1 FC each)
  
  You may also:
• Complete the level for 55 FC

Reward: Polish Station

Stage 9: Gemologists

Requirements: 

• Get 8 friends to be Gem Runners and help you gems where they need to go (send requests directly to friends)
