Placing the Holiday Tree

When you open FarmVille, you'll see a dialogue prompting you to place the Holiday Tree:

Once your Holiday Tree is placed, you'll have these options:

• Ask for Gifts - Send a request directly to your friends asking for Gifts
• Send Gifts - Send gifts to your friends! They're free to send and you'll get to choose which type of box you'd like to send.
• Look Inside - See how may gifts you have and how many you have to go until your Tree is filled
• Move - Move your Tree around on your Farm
• Sell - Option to sell your Tree for coins

Please note that the Holiday Tree doesn't require you to build it or gather any parts! It will grow more visually impressive as you get more Gifts (more on that below), but to join in the Holiday fun, all you have to do is place it and start sending (and receiving!) Gifts!

Sending Gifts

To send Gifts to your friends, just click the "Send Gifts" option in the Holiday Tree menu. You'll have the option to send a number of different packages:

Gold Holiday Gift: You can unlock the ability to give this Gift once you complete your Holiday Tree!

Receiving Gifts

You can get Gifts in three ways:

• Send requests directly to your friends. They'll respond with Gifts that you can add to your Tree!
• Purchase Gifts with Farm Cash.* Hey, "Me-Gifting" is a thing!
• Get gifts from friends who are sharing on their feeds

*Please note that you can send Gifts to your friends for free! You just have to pay Farm Cash to buy them for yourself.

When your friends respond to your requests for Gifts, they can respond, and your Gifts will show up in your Gift Box! Simply open it up and click "Use All" to apply your Gifts to your Holiday Tree.

The Holiday Tree has 5 stages. Your Tree will grow more and more decorated as you add Gifts to it. Once you have 300 Gifts, your tree will look completely finished, but your Tree can hold up to 1000 Gifts.

Each time you complete a stage, you'll have the option to share some Gifts with your friends and spread Holiday Cheer!

Opening Your Gifts

Check back after December 24th to open your Gifts! NO PEEKING!
