Community Neighbor Feature

The Community Neighbor feature allows you to connect with other Hidden Shadows players (non-Facebook friends) and engage in sending out and receiving requests/feeds.

You can help and at the same time receive help from your Community friends, similar to your normal Facebook friends.

Finding Community Neighbors/Friends is automated. All you need to do is to add them as your Hidden Shadows neighbors after you receive the recommended players’ pop-up.

NOTE – Your Community Neighbors aren’t your Facebook friends and will not show up on your Facebook profile, these will show up only in Hidden Shadows.

Q: How do I sign up for this feature?
A: It’s simple, when you load your game, you will be greeted with a pop-up (shown below) which you’ll have to accept to enable the feature.

Q: Can I enable or disable this feature in-case I miss the initial pop-up (shown above)?
A: Yes, you can enable or disable this feature at your will by clicking on the HUD button (on the bottom right of your game)

After clicking on the HUD button, toggle the “tick” and click on “Save”.

Q: I’ve enabled the feature, what now?
A: Our system automatically finds other Hidden Shadows players for you. Once our algorithm matches your game style with other players, you will see an in-game pop (shown below) requesting you to add them as your Hidden Shadows Neighbors.

NOTE - It might take a few days for you to receive friend suggestions from our system.  

Q: After you send a neighbor request, does the other player have to accept it?
A: Yes, the other player needs to accept your Hidden Shadows neighbor request. The neighbor request will be sent to his/her Zynga Message Center (white envelope at the top right corner of the game screen)

Q: Can I differentiate between my Facebook friends and Community neighbors/friends?
A: Yes, all your Community neighbors will be marked with the community friend's icon next to their name (as shown below)
