Zynga Partners with Oxfam for 4th Annual Oh, What Fun! Holiday Campaign

Today we’re proud to kick off a very special campaign just in time for the holiday giving season. Oh, What Fun!, an in-game charitable campaign in select Zynga games, will give our players an easy and fun way to support Oxfam America and their mission of providing lasting solutions to poverty, hunger and social injustice throughout the month of December.

Now in its fourth year, the annual Oh, What Fun! campaign makes it easy for players to contribute to causes they care about by playing our games. Since 2012, Zynga players have raised millions of dollars for nonprofits during the holiday season. This year’s Oh, What Fun!campaign features festive in-game events and limited-edition items in the following games benefiting Oxfam America.

Empires & Allies – Commanders, it’s time to stock up with surplus cache! From December 15 to January 2, purchased gold spent on surplus cache will benefit Oxfam America.

FarmVille – Farmers can help Sasha throw a festive holiday party for a good cause. 100% of Zynga’s share of the proceeds from purchased Farm Cash spent preparing for the party from December 21 to January 10 will benefit Oxfam America.

FarmVille 2 – A special holiday event will allow players to collect limited-edition in-game items during the month of December.

Hit It Rich! Slots and Wizard of Oz Slots – Make your wagers count! 100% of Zynga’s share of the value of premium coins wagered in Hit It Rich! Slots on December 12 and in Wizard of Oz Slots on December 20 will benefit Oxfam America.

Looney Tunes Dash! – Runners, it’s time to make your best runs. During the Oxfam Crazy Corn event, players can collect corn to earn prizes and unlock donations. Every mother lode chest winner will unlock a $3 contribution to Oxfam America, up to $25,000. The Crazy Corn event will take place December 11 – 20.

Mafia Wars – A special in-game item benefiting Oxfam America will be available December 16 – 22. 100% of Zynga’s share of the proceeds will benefit Oxfam America.

Word Streak With Friends – For every player who scores 1,000 points against friends to complete the Oxfam Challenge December 6 – 12, Zynga will donate $1, up to $25,000.

Words With Friends – Wordies, make your moves matter! From December 7 – 12, complete the Weekly Challenge and Zynga will contribute $1 for every 20 completed challenges, up to $100,000.

Zynga Poker – Helping Hands are back! Turn on your rake to contribute 15% of your winnings to the community goal. If players rake a combined 300 billion chips from December 16 – 22, a $50,000 contribution to Oxfam America will be unlocked.
