- Q: What are the prerequisites for this feature?
A: This feature is available to players level 11+. This is gradually rolling out to more players.
- Q: What are Vacant Islands?
A: Vacant Islands are land that you build on the water.
- Q: What do I need to do to complete a Vacant Island?
A: Collect the Buildable parts required for each island and build the island as you would any other building.
- Q: Can I build additional islands?
A: No. The islands that are are displayed are the only custom islands available at this time.
- Q: Can I move my islands?
A: Islands can be moved only after expanded to and completed.
- Q: Can I store my Vacant Islands in my Warehouse?
A: Yes! The islands can be stored after being expanded to and are not able to be deleted. Note The buildings on islands must be stored indivually and will lose all payouts and goods while stored.
- Q: If I store a completed Island will I have to complete it again when I place it back?
A: No you will not; it will be in the same state in which it was removed.
Step by Step Guide to Building your islands
- Once you have reached level 11 you will receive this quest and the ability to start building your islands.
- You will see the islands available in your water.
- You will notice the appearance of the islands change with each click to Build.
- You will need a few parts to complete each island. You can get these by sending requests to your friends and posting requests to your feed, as well as by purchasing them with City Cash.

Using Your City Center
Once you have upgraded your City Center to level 7 (or after the event ends) you will be able to use the special bonus; after using that bonus you can start storing Community Buildings!

- Once you have used the City Center one-time bonus, click to open it so that you can start storing Community Buildings.
- Click on the "Fill" button to place a Community Building inside your City Center.
- All Community Buildings that can be placed inside will be highlighted.
- Click on the desired Community Building to place it inside your City Center.
- In cases of Community Buildings that can be upgraded you will see an "Upgrade" button under the building once you place it inside your City Center.
- Clicking on the "Upgrade" button will allow you to upgrade the selected Community Building without removing it from your City Center.
