A little over a year ago, we launched Zynga.com to be the best destination for games. Since then, you've been able to level up faster by getting the help you need when you need it and find friendly competition whenever you want it. It has been amazing to share that with you, but we felt we could make your play experience even better, so we continued to work behind the scenes to produce an upgraded Zynga.com. We're excited to share the results with you today!
We considered your many requests for us to separate your Zynga.com account from your Facebook account, and decided to do exactly that! Gone are the days you log in to Zynga.com with your Facebook email address and password. Instead, you'll use your Zynga login, on which you'll have the opportunity to continue your Facebook game progress once you update your account. You'll then be able to play your games on either Zynga.com with your zFriends or Facebook with your Facebook friends (yes, you'll still be able to play your games on Facebook if you want to), and all progress you make will be reflected in both places. Upgrading your account ensures you have the freedom to keep your social network completely separate from your game network when you play on Zynga.com. This means no more accidentally posting to your Facebook friends or alerting your boss to the fact that you're tending to your farm, city, and kingdom instead of your work!
