Earning badges is easy - as you play Draw Something normally - draw the words used in a Badge - then you get the Badge and a nice coin reward!
And yep, your partner has to successfully guess the drawing for you to get credit.
The tricky part is that the words in badges are hidden , so you're looking out for words that might be part of Badges!
Here, I'll give you an example:
The "Come On Down" Badge has 5 words. The words for this badge are supposed to be a mystery, but I'll give away this one:
Word 1 - Pony
Word 2 - Car
Word 3 - Jewelry
Word 4 - Yacht
Word 5 - Goat (this is supposed to be funny, so a courtesy LOL would be appreciated!)
When you pick the all above words, draw them, and a partner successfully guesses your drawing - you get the Badge and a onetime coin prize.
Earning a Badge gets you extra coins - so try and collect them all!
Some questions you might have:
Q: How many badges are there?
A: Right now there are over 20 badges - more on the way. If you are using the Fre version, you may only see about 11 of them. So upgrade if you like the feature!
Q: How do I know what words are used for a badge?
A: Each badge has a theme name, like the one above "Come On Down" is supposed to represent prizes on a gameshow. But we'll occasionally throw in a weird word - so it doesn't hurt to try and draw words you usually wouldn't.
Q: Can I draw the words in a Badge with any player, or do I have to guess all the words with just one player?
A: Badge words you draw with any combination of player counts.
Q: Can't I just google the words that are used for the badges?
A: Yeah, but that's lame.
Q: Do I have to own the Paid version of Draw Something to earn badges?
A: For some yes, but there are some badges that only include Free words.
Q: Do some badges include words from special categories that I need bombs for?
A: Yep!
