Welcome to the brave new world of sheep breeding! With the Sheep Pen you can begin to breed ewes and rams to produce some startling new offspring--the likes of which have never been seen before in FarmVille.
In addition, we've created a Leveling Up option for sheep breeding (which behaves exactly like Pig Breeding Leveling Up, which you can take a look at here: http://forums.zynga.com/showthread.php?t=964444).
When you view inside your sheep pen, you'll see a small difference: a meter in the upper-left letting you know what level you're currently on:
You'll also see a new button when you select sheep to breed, which is the middle button that says "Progress". This is a meter that shows your progression, as well as the next unique pattern you'll unlock once you reach that level! For example:
