Who are Featured Players?

Zynga Poker is more enjoyable when you play at tables with friends and others that share common interests. That's why we suggest players that you may enjoy playing with through Featured Players. It's always more exciting to brag to people you know at the table, have them share in the excitement of a big win, or even exchange some friendly trash talk. 

When you are in the Lobby, a box appears on the right-hand side that shows players who are playing near you or players who you have recently played with. These are Featured Players.

How do I play Poker with a Featured Player?

Click on the green "Join" button to join the table a Featured Player is seated at. You may join one Featured Player at a time.

Are the Featured Players that are shown to me all at the same table?

No. Each Featured Player is playing at his or her own table. 

How are Featured Players chosen?

Featured Players are chosen by locating other online players playing near you or by finding online players you have recently played with. By introducing other players to you, we hope that you cultivate new buddies and friends, while increasing the enjoyment you have playing Zynga Poker.

What information can other players see about me?

Similar to your Zynga Poker profile information, players can view the following information about you:
*your first name
*your profile picture
*the stakes at your current table
*approximate chip stack
*your level


How do I opt out?

In the Game Settings menu (click the gear icon) uncheck "Enable Featured Players." When you opt out, other players will not be able to see you.  Although Featured Players will appear in the Poker Lobby, you will not show up as a Featured Player to anyone else.

What does the lightning bolt symbol represent?

The lightning bolt appears when a Zynga Poker buddy or Featured Player is at a fast paced table.
