Games stuck "Sending Move" in Words With Friends

If you keep seeing the message "Sending Move..." and it looks like you're stuck there, chances are your browser needs to refresh the page. To do this, press the F5 key on your keyboard or open another browser window and navigate to http://apps.facebook.com/wordswithfriends/.




This message is currently appearing after dismissing the move post request and is something we are currently working to correct. Having to refresh the browser all of the time is annoying.

Release Notes: Special Forces Spectacular! (8/29/11)

Ten-HUT!

We've received a top secret missive: this week brings us the Special Forces Spectacular!



The Special Forces Spectacular includes a whole new squad of powerful Spec Ops and Covert Ops units, including a few that are breaking new ground.

Today, for example, we have the Spectre Gunship, in both a Stealth version and a Night Ops version!
 

If you're paying attention, you may notice that the Night Ops version of the Spectre Gunship is now the highest strength bomber in the game, with a strength of 275!

We've also introduced the Commando!


This guy is tough as nails (and kind of familiar looking...), with a strength of 135. They're also our FIRST limited edition soldiers, which we're very excited about!

We've got a bunch of other bonuses and decorations available with this release, so go to town! Remember, these units are only available for a limited time—and keep your eyes out for a few more Spec Ops units on the horizon! They're sneaky...

A Dam Good Time!

Greetings City Builders!

It's time to introduce some hydroelectric power to your cities and increase your maximum energy by up to 7 points!

Benefits of having a Dam

• When you supply the Dam it will increase your maximum energy by +1 (up to 37 total maximum energy)
• Cool new and unique structure!

Summary FAQ

• Q: How can I receive the Dam?
  A: You will receive the quest "Power Your City" when you reach level 50.

• Q: Where can I place the Dam?
  A: You will see a green square highlighting the area with a yellow arrow pointing to it.

• Q: How often can I supply my Dam to receive energy?
  A: Once every 12 hours.
  
  
• Q: How long can I wait once it's ready to be supplied again?
  A: You have 24 to supply the Dam once it's ready to be supplied, after that your energy bonus will reset.
  
  
• Q: What is the maximum bonus energy that can be received by supplying the Dam?
  A: The maximum bonus is +7, which would increase your total maximum energy to 37.
  
  
• Q: What happens when I supply the Dam and I'm already at 37 maximum energy?
  A: You will maintain your maximum energy at 37.
  
  
• Q: What happens if I miss a day?
  A: You will lose one bonus energy; for example, if you got your total maximum energy to 35, and you missed one day, it will go down to 34. Please keep in mind that your total energy will never fall below 30, by missing a day of supplying your Dam you can only lose 1 point of the bonus energy you already received.

Part 1: Building your Dam

1. Once you receive the quest to build the Dam, click on the quest icon to bring up the quest requirements.
   
   

   

2. Clicking on the "Place" button will show you where to place the Dam:
   

   

   Note: You will have to expand on the left side of the river to where you have to place the Dam, expanding on the right side is not necessary; in fact, once you place the Dam, you will get some land for free!
   

   

3. After placing your Dam, click on it to bring up a list of the items needed to start constructing it.
   

   

4. Once you have gathered all the materials, click on the "Start Building" building button to continue construction.
   

   

5. Finishing your Dam will require 15 energy, but once you complete it you will receive 31 energy bolts!
   

   

   Note: If you remove the Dam after placing it, but before you finish it's construction, it will go back into you inventory and you will lose any progress you have made. Removing the Dam once you have finished building it is not possible.

Part 2: Using your Dam

1. Now that you have your very own energy Dam, supply it daily to increase your total maximum energy by up to 7 points! Click on the Dam to supply it with 400:
   

   

2. And watch your maximum energy increase by 1!
   

   

3. Your Dam will be ready for more goods 12 hours after you supply it. Once it's ready, make sure to supply it within 48 hours to keep your energy bonus. You can hover over the Dam to see how much time you have left to resupply it.

Ten-HUT!

A small release today! Mostly bug fixes and tweaks this time, no major features—but stay tuned, because we have some big stuff planned for release in the next few weeks. 

Additions/Improvements

• We've started a new XP Dash Leaderboard!

Fixes

• Implemented a fix which should prevent users from disconnecting when trying to purchase goods from a neighbor's market.
• Fixed an error where some of the Energy drops on Critical Kills were being added to your Energy bar, but weren't appearing as drops.
• Fixed an error where some higher tier units were appearing in pvp invasions against players who were too low level to unlock them.
• Fixed an error where avatar images weren't displaying properly for some users.
• The KFX Fighter now sounds like a Fighter, rather than an Airship.
• Fixed an error that disconnected you if you exited a battle before deploying your troops.

Please Note: There is a bug with this release that disconnects you when you attempt to purchase one of the Participation Rewards from the latest round of the Damage Dash Leaderboard. If you tried to purchase one of the units and your unit disappeared, please contact Zynga Support and they will be able to straighten it out for you. Sorry for the extra hassle!

I cannot sell my servings to Dale

Yasou chefs,

We are aware that you are having issues with being unable to remove dishes from your counters to sell to Dale. Our engineers are currently investigating this issue. We understand that it is important to free up counters so you can cook more dishes for your quest or catering orders. We hope to have a resolution soon.

We were able to determine that the following stoves were affected:

RoboCounter

Decorative Alien Counter

Decorative Hot Rod Counter

Decorative Pie Counter

Decorative Pink Hot Rod Counter

Silver Space Counter

We received reports from players reporting that they are currently not able to accept gifts in the game as the "Zynga Message Centre" shows 0 gifts.

Our developers are aware of this issue and we are working hard to resolve it as fast as possible.

NEW PET GUIDE

The Pet Run is now available to breed more animals in FarmVille! Harvesting the pets inside the Pet Run counts towards Animal Mastery! And guess what? More pets in your Run means more chances of finding new Pet Mystery Babies! Build your Run and start growing these cute little pets today!

The Pet Run is the second of seven total new breeding buildings to be released.

Farmers with an Animal Trough will receive a message to replace it with a new Pet Run or Wildlife Habitat. But do not fear, the Pet Run, Wildlife Habitat, and other forthcoming breeding pens will offer you even more opportunities to claim Animals!

Breeding your Animals:
You can breed a wide variety of pets, such as cats, dogs, turtles, rabbits, chinchillas, and hedgehogs.

Note: Animals that qualify for the Pet Run do not currently include puppies and dogs from the Puppies feature, including the Border Collie, St. Bernard, and Golden Retriever, for example.

You don’t need pairs of animals to find a Pet Mystery Baby; you just need one of any particular Pet in your Run to have a chance of finding its Mystery Baby upon harvesting the Run!

Placing the Pet Run:

You will need the following Building Materials to complete your Pet Run:-  10x Painted Wood
-  10x Water Pump
-  10x Fence Post

There are three ways of obtaining Building Materials:-  Free Gifts Tab – Send a Free Gift to friends to help them with their building
 -  Click on green button “Ask for Part” – Send requests for parts to any friend once every four hours
 -  Click on the green button “Complete Now” – Use Farm Cash to complete Building immediately

This is what your Pet Run will look like once it’s completed:

Upon completing your Pet Run, you will receive one free Himalayan Cat:

You can store up to 20 animals in each Pet Run that you own. Like Orchards, you can have more than one Run on your farm and can choose which Run you would like to use to store a specific Pet Run animal.


Clicking on the Pet Run gives you the option to:-  Look inside
-  Apply Instant Grow
-  Move
-  Sell

You can view all your current animals inside your Pet Run, including Animal Mastery status and quantity, when selecting the “Look Inside” option. You can also use Animal Instant Grow which will be applied to all animals inside the Pet Run:

Animals that are qualified for the Run but are not placed inside the Run (whether you own these animals or not) appear translucent:

Some animals are only available from the Market, while others are available from your friends. (Some animals will not be available at this time, but stay tuned as they may make a comeback in the future!) When looking Inside the Pet Run, the Mystery Babies that are available from Friends will have a small sunshine indicator when rolling your cursor over the animal. So keep an eye on your Newsfeed for Pet Mystery Babies from your friends!

The Mystery Babies that you can claim from your friends can include::
 
-  Rare Mystery Babies: The Rare Pet Mystery Babies have pink bassinets and include previous Limited Edition items (but only ones worth less than 15 Farm Cash) and Common Mystery Game items.
 
-  Common Mystery Babies:The Common Pet Mystery Babies have orange bassinets and include previous Coin animals, Lonely Animals, and Quest rewards.


Note: The information above applies only to Mystery Babies you claim from your friends! Any Mystery Baby that you find in your own Pet Run will grow up to be just like one of the animals that was in your Run at the time of harvest! (To qualify to create a Mystery Baby, an animal must be in the Pet Run from before 10% harvest progress until the Run is harvested.)




Harvesting your animals inside the Pet Run:

You will see a pink arrow above the Pet Run once it’s ready for harvest and an orange illumination around when hovering over:

When you harvest your Pet Run for coins and Animal Mastery, you have a chance to find a Mystery Baby! The more animals inside your Run, the better your chances of finding a Mystery Baby upon harvest. When you find a Mystery Baby, you’ll have the option to share an extra one with your friends!

Keep a lookout in your Newsfeed for Mystery Babies that you can claim from your friends!
You don’t need pairs of animals to find a Mystery Baby from your own Pet Run; you just need one of any particular pet in your Run to have a chance of finding its Mystery Baby upon harvesting the Run!

When you don’t find a Mystery Baby upon harvest, you will find coins and Animal Feed, which you can share with your friends!

Mystery Baby Animals:


Mystery Babies grow up into rare or common animals; the color of the baby bassinet will tell you which is which: pink baby bassinets are rare, and orange baby bassinets are common.

When you find a Mystery Baby after harvest, you will be able to place the little baby on your farm. There will be a green illumination hovering over open areas on your farm:

After placing your new little baby on the farm, you will have five options:-  Complete Now – Use Farm Cash to complete animal immediately
-  Feed Baby (requires Animal Feed)
-  Ask For Feed – Post your request to the Newsfeed where your friends can click the post and help send you Animal Feed
-  Move
-  Sell


When selecting “Ask For Feed”, you can ask your Friends to send Animal Feed. You will need 10 or 30 Animal Feeds to complete your baby, depending on whether the baby is common or rare:

You will be notified once your baby has grown up into an adult. Any Mystery Baby that you find in your own Pet Run will grow up to be just like one of the animals that was in your Run at the time of harvest!

Don’t forget: To qualify to create a Mystery Baby, an animal must be in the Pet Run from before 10% harvest progress until the Run is harvested.

When trying to move an animal, the appropriate Pet Run will illuminate in blue and then you can place inside:

The last five animals placed inside your Pet Run will be featured after exiting the “Look Inside” option:

How to get Hidden Missions

Wondering how to get hidden missions to finish Beaver Valley or High Plains? We want to help!





First of all, make sure your mission isn't hiding somewhere in the map. The trail is a pretty big place, we recommend to try and play in full screen mode.

You're looking for a little blue "!". They can be above a tree, a turkey, a crawdad trap,  perhaps even a skunkadillo!!

 

 

Your missions spawn once you complete other missions and do a few actions around your wagon.
