Hello chef,
Some Cafe World players are unable to load their cafes. A few players have been experiencing this issue for a few days, while others have been unable to load more recently. The Heading to your Cafe load percentage may be stuck when attempting to load your Cafe, or you may see a blue or beige screen after loading. If you see a blue or beige screen, we have found that clearing your browser's cache and cookies may fix the problem.
Click here for some general troubleshooting tips for all of our games. If those aren't working, below you'll find some additional suggestions:
1) Do not stream movies or music while playing Café World.
2) Do not play other games while playing Café World.
3) Do not click off of the Cafe World window while the game is loading.
4) Clear your browser's cache and cookies
5) Make sure you are using the most up-to-date version of Flash
6) There are known issues with Internet Explorer 8 and 9, please try using the most up to date version of Firefox or Chrome browsers.
7) If your game continues to consistently load slowly, try reducing the graphics quality by clicking on the options menu at the bottom, right corner of your Café and then the “Eye” button to reduce visual quality.
8) If possible, connect your computer to the internet through an Ethernet cord rather than wirelessly.
9) Slow down on your clicks. When you queue up too many actions at once, this may cause your game to go out of sync.
10) Sell any unwanted or unused items - Everything in your account needs to load before you can play the game. If you have things that you don't like or plan to use, either use or sell them and it may help your game load faster.
11) Place the Salad Bar into your inventory. The Cafe World discovered that the Salad Bar may cause loading issues. May we suggest that you place it into your inventory to see if it improves your loading speed.
