Byron’s Capture is broken up in 2 consecutive Chapters, with quests that unlock based on the previous quests’ completion.
We have captured Byron! It is now time to hear his plea and dispense justice. Help our heroes build a prison for this nefarious noble. Collect enough evidence to convict the manipulative monarch of his crimes, and administer some Castleville justice!
If you are level 19 or higher, you will see the following pop-up. Hit the “Let’s Go!” button to begin.
Leif will become a Temporary Hero for players below Level 37 (Only available after “Magnus’ Summoning Breakthrough” quest is completed):
In order to make Byron confess his crimes, you will need the help of Leif. But for some of you Leif is trapped in a crystal and you will need the help of Magnus to work his magic to summon our hearty hero, all you need to do is to complete the “Magnus’ Summoning Breakthrough” quest.
For players that already freed Leif from the Crystal, you can use Leif from the start!
Byron’s Capture Quests:
Complete each chapter to earn awesome rewards and unlock the Feature Reward! Each chapter will unlock after the previous quest has been completed. To see the current chapter, click on the Progress Bar at the bottom of the screen. The first tab of the Event Center shows all the chapters required to complete the event. Quest chapters have a number of quests to complete, and new quests may unlock in different ways – click or tap a locked quest to see how to unlock it. You can see more details on a quest by clicking the Continue (if you have started the quest) or Accept (if you have not started the quest) button.
In addition, your Progress Bar will fill up for each task you complete.
From the Overall Progress tab of the Event Center, click on the “Accept” button to access those particular quests (see image below)
Each chapter starts with the first quest unlocked. As you complete each quest more will unlock.

Quest 1:1 “Much ado about Byron”
1. Craft Basilisk Bandages
2. Tend Byron in Stocks
3. Collect Dusty Spyglass
Quest 1:2 “Leif Investigates”
1. Craft Wooden Shields
2. Research the Runed Blade
3. Collect Black Feathered Arrows
Quest 1:3 “A Trance and a Sketch Away”
1. Collect Blueberry Ink
2. Use Sketch Easels
3. Collect Charcoal Chunk
Quest 1:4 “Byron Can’t Handle the Truth”
1. Completely research clues
2. Craft Building Materials
3. Send Leif and Rafael to the Well of Wishes
Chapter 2 is as follows:
Quest 2:1 “Fate and Sentence Sealed”
1. Collect Logs
2. Craft Building Materials
3. Find Prison Blueprints
Quest 2:2 “Build a Better Prison”
1. Craft Prison Garb
2. Build upon Byron’s Cell
3. Send Rafael to Dragon’s Clutch
Quest 2:3 “A Shield Against a Watchful Eye”
1. Craft Spell of Protection
2. Find Old Spellbook
3. Finish Byron’s Cell
Quest 2:4 “Yvette”
1. Finish Magnus’s Spell Station
2. Send Magnus to Mount Cinder
3. Craft Enchanted Message
In Addition to these quests there are also bonus quests that appear in your quest log every week. The bonus quests reward you for the progress you have made and offer extra rewards for diving deeper into the story.
Complete this and you will earn the Enchanted Treasure Chest!
