The Duke Smells something atrocious! What could Faugrimm be brewing up this time? The Duke suspects that it's coming from deep inside the Gloom, so start exploring to investigate what's causing his olfactory woes!

NOTE: If you have not explored the areas leading up to where the Duke wants to venture through, see the first 2 quests below. If you have already explored these areas, skip to Quest 1 below.

1st area to explore:

• Raise your Castle to 170 (Build Royal Buildings and place Royal Decorations to increase your Castle)
• Tax 5 Buildings
• Explore the new Gloom area

2nd area to explore:



Quest tasks

• Have 4 Eye of Newt (found by clicking the Post to Friends button in the quest window or found on the Newsfeed)
• Raise your Castle to 320 (Build Royal Buildings and place Royal Decorations to increase your Castle)
• Explore the new Gloom area

• Banish 1 Gloom Orc
• Sell 3 Honey (sell from the Materials section of your Inventory)
• Collect 7 Ogre's Belch (found by clearing grass, roots etc)

• 1 Firefly Bush (found in the Nature section of your Inventory)

Quest 2

Quest tasks

• Consume 3 Grape Juice (use from the Energy section of your Inventory, crafted in the Kitchen)
• Have 3 Fly Swatters (found by clicking the Post to Friends button in the quest window or found on the Newsfeed)
• Explore the new Gloom area

Quest tasks

• Have 1 Studio in your Kingdom
• Craft 3 Purity Talismans (crafted in the Studio)
• Use Talismans to cleanse Swamp Roots (click on Roots to use Talismans or purchase Talismans)

Quest 4

Quest tasks

• Banish 3 Gloom Orcs
• Ask for 7 Empty Flasks (found by clicking the Post to Friends button in the quest window or found on the Newsfeed)
• Harvest 10 Tomatoes (may need to sell current stock to make way for new Tomatoes if Inventory is full of this item)

• Sonja's Old Dinghy (found under the Decor section of your Inventory)

• Have 2 Studios in your Kingdom
• Craft 10 Purity Talismans (crafted in the Studio)
• Free 3 Animals trapped in Swamp Roots (click on Roots to use Talismans or purchase Talismans)

• Craft 2 Cleansing Flames (crafted in the workshop, use by clicking on them in the Consumables section of your Inventory)
• Use Cleansing Flames to cleanse 2 Gloom Trees (use from the Consumables section of your Inventory)

FAQ:

Q: Where is my Firefly Bush and my other prizes that I won? 
A: You can find the Firefly Bush and the Swampy Pond under the Nature section of your Inventory; Sonja's Old Dinghy and the Critter Den can be found under the Decor section of your Inventory. 

Q: I crafted the Cleansing Flames but every time I click on the Swamp Trees it says I need to pay 80 Crowns or craft more. Why is that?
A: You can pay the Crowns to skip the time and resources to craft them, but if you've already crafted the Cleansing Flames, you can use them by clicking on them under the Consumables section of your Inventory and then clicking on the Swamp Trees.
