How does serving work in Cafe World?

Greeting chef,

Serving a dish is the act of moving a cooked dish onto the counter. A cooked dish can come from a stove, gift box or even your fridge. Although serving a dish may yield many servings, serving a dish will only count as 1 towards your task.

For example:
Chef Tammy is required to serve Reuben Sandwich 20 times. She can place any combination of Bacon Cheeseburger servings from her gift box, stove or fridge onto the counter totaling 20 times.  Each gift box, stove or fridge serving will count as 1 towards the catering order or quest. Keep in mind that since your gift box items are stacked, serving all of your Reuben Sandwiches will count as 1 since you are moving all of them from your gift box to your counter.

Note:
If you have a double mastery effect in your cafe, the servings will count as 2 towards the catering order or quest.

If you are required to serve a required number of a particular dish, this is the act of your waiter moving a dish from counter to a customer's table.

For example:
Chef Tom is required to serve 12 Four Bean Chili.  As long as he has a total of 12 Four Bean Chili on his counter, the task will be complete after his waiter serves them all.
