Magic Snowman Guide

The Magic Snowman has arrived to FarmVille!

Hey Farmers! Can you feel the Magic? Ask your Friends for Materials to build your Magic Snowman. Get Magic Snowflakes by harvesting your Ice Palace or crafting special Snowflake goods. And better yet, redeem those Materials plus Magic Snowflakes for magical prizes!

Note: If you are unable to locate The Magic Snowman, check for it in your Gift Box or purchase it in the Market for one Coin. 

Placing The Magic Snowman:

A Green illumination around the Magic Snowman will glow over open placement areas on your farm.

Note: You can have 1 Magic Snowman on each Farm (Home, English Countryside, Lighthouse Cove, and Winter Wonderland).

Once placed on your Farm, you will have the following six options:

• Ask for More – Send requests for Materials to any friend once every four hours
• Send Materials – Send Materials to your Friends from the Free Gifts Tab
• Buy Materials – Buy Materials directly from the Market
• Look Inside – View your progress
• Move – Rearrange your Magic Snowman on your farm
• Sell – Option to sell your Magic Snowman

There are three ways of obtaining Materials:

• Ask for More – Send requests for Materials to any friend once every four hours
• Send Materials – Send Materials to your Friends from the Free Gifts Tab
• Buy Materials – Buy Materials directly from the Market

Note: Collect Materials for the Magic Snowman and Share them with your Friends. 

Redeem your Materials & Magic Snowflakes for Prizes:

• Prizes require a combination of Materials and Magic Snowflakes to redeem:
  • Aurora Fence – 2 Materials and 1 Magic Snowflake
  • Moon Tree – 10 Materials and 3 Magic Snowflakes
  • Aurora Cat – 25 Materials and 6 Magic Snowflakes
  • Star Bright Sheep – 50 Materials and 10 Magic Snowflakes
  • Starry Pond – 85 Materials and 18 Magic Snowflakes
  • Aurora Unicorn – 120 Materials and 28 Magic Snowflakes
• A Magic Snowman Material is any of the following items: Starry Scarf, Mound of Snow, Magic Top Hat, Shooting Star & Pile of Aurora Dust
• Once you have enough Materials & Magic Snowflakes you will be able to select “Redeem” under the prize to collect
• “Available to use” total measures your remaining Materials & Magic Snowflakes after redemption

Collect Materials from friends and collect Magic Snowflakes from harvesting your Ice Palace or from crafting the following recipes:

Getting Magic Snowflakes:

• Collect Magic Snowflakes from harvesting your Ice Palace
• Harvest your Ice Palace every day to get Magic Snowflakes
• Upgrade your Ice Palace to get up to 4 Magic Snowflakes per harvest!
• You can also get Magic Snowflakes from crafting the following recipes:
  • Sweet Shoppe – Sugar Snowflake
  • Winery – Snowflake Cocktail
  • Spa – Snowflake Soap
  • Bakery – Snowflake Cookie
  • Craftshop – Magic Snowflake

Note: Magic Snowflakes will be added to Gift Box after crafted goods are used.

All Materials from Friends will be delivered to your Gift Box. Find them there and press the ‘Use All’ button to add them to your Magic Snowman.

Congratulations! You’ve filled your Magic Snowman with Materials, now redeem them for cool prizes!

Note: Click on your Friends’ feed posts to get Materials.

You have two options to check your status:

• Hover over your Magic Snowman
• Click on ‘Look Inside’ – view your status on the Status Bar

Upgrading Your Magic Snowman:

• Collect more Materials and Magic Snowflakes to upgrade you Magic Snowman on your farm
• “Total” measures your total number of Materials & Magic Snowflakes collected and your progress towards upgrading your Magic Snowman
• There are 5 stages to upgrade your Magic Snowman and with each the Snowman gets more magical!

Congratulations for completing your Magic Snowman! You will have the option to share Materials with your Friends by posting to your Facebook Wall, and sending Materials directly to your Friends.
