The Academy Staff has been informed that some students are having problems collecting enough Hedge Shears for their 'Ankle Snappers' assignment (Quest #8 in the Herbology curriculum), and we wanted to address those problems.
What the Academy Staff wanted to make known is that if you took the initiative to collect Hedge Shears ahead of beginning that assignment, that will not be counted towards the requirements of that assignment. And as you cannot keep more than nine Hedge Shears at a time, you may max out your inventory before meeting the requirements for the assignment.
If this is the case, the Academy Staff recommends that you sell your Hedge Shears before trying to collect new ones. Only Hedge Shears collected after starting that assignment will count towards the assignment.
