We’ve made breeding pigs a lot more fun with the ability to level up your skill as a breeder, allowing you to earn cool rewards and unlock brand new patterns!
Leveling up your pig breeding works by earning points towards the next breeding level—these points can be gained by either successfully breeding pigs or adopting them from your feed.
You can get started immediately if you already have a Pig Pen on either your Home farm or your English Countryside farm. Click the Pig Pen and select Look Inside. You will see some new changes to the Pig Pen interface.
At the top left of the Pig Pen window, you’ll see a meter showing your current breeding level. This meter fills up when you start earning points towards the next level. If you move your mouse pointer over the meter, you’ll get more info on how many points needed to get to the next level. There’s also a new button at the top named Progress. When you click Progress, you’ll see this new display:
The Progress window shows more detail about your current breeding level, the points you need to get to the next level, and what your next major award will be. If you’re just starting out, like in this example, you’ll be Level 1 with no points and your next major reward is the Checkerboard Boar at Level 5. There are currently 30 levels of breeding to gain.
As you start accumulating points, you’ll see the meter build up. After you reach one-third and two-thirds of the way to the next level, you will get a Baby Bottle as a reward:
When you hit the next level, you get a Love Potion (as well as the option to share it). This window shows the level you’ve just earned, what that reward was, and what your next major unlock level is (Level 5 for the Checkerboard Boar in this case). When you earn a major unlock, the prize goes into your Gift Box.
You can also purchase your way to the next major unlock level with Farm Cash by clicking Unlock Now. By making this purchase, you will advance to that unlock level automatically (so if you’re Level 1, you’ll be automatically advanced to Level 5).
