Hello Adventurers!
Now that we're safely back at base camp, we can use the Master Key we picked up. Click on the keyhole to continue.
Uh oh, the key doesn't work. We need to do more - this is going to be more difficult than we thought!
Professor Allen looks like he wants to say something. Click on him to find out what.
Looks like we can follow him to find our base camp.
Now we have 2 quests waiting for us. The first one:
And the second one:
Let's start with the supply boats first. Click on the boat with boxes in it, to collect those supplies.
And that lets us complete step one of the Tools quest:
Now let's take a look at the other quest:
Please note: in this quest, I have a farm to place. You may have a farm, a well, OR a fuel station. Each person is randomly assigned ONE resource. You will have other opportunities to get the other resources, but you will only ever have one (farm, well, or fuel) on your own base camp.
I will place my farm:
And then I'll be told about the other resources:
The symbols on the neighbor ladder at the bottom of the screen match up with the resources your neighbors have. Since I have a farm, under my portrait on the ladder it will show a crossed knife and fork. My neighbors that have a well will have the water droplet under their picture, and my neighbors with a fuel station will have an oil droplet.
Now I'll click on my farm to collect some food for the quest. If you were randomly assigned a well or a fuel station, your quest will be to collect either water or oil.
Now the rest of the quest requires us to visit some neighbors:
But what if you don't have any neighbors yet? That's okay! You have one - John. He has all three resources, and so shows all 3 symbols beneath his picture.
Why does he get three? He's just special that way. No, you can't have three. Just because, that's why. If you click on the "Visit" button, you'll travel to his camp.
John's camp is pretty impressive! Note the positions of the three resources, and collect from them:
Hooray! That quest is completed!
At each neighbors camp, you can do 5 actions to help them out. You can tell how many actions you have left by the green action bar at the top of the screen. As you do actions, the action meter will decrease, until you have 0 left. At that point, you cannot do any more for the day.
Since you still have 2 actions left, feel free to chop down some plants, feed John's animals, or collect some supplies from John's boats.
Once you have used all 5 energy points, you get a bonus for helping!
You are limited in how much energy you can get from helping your neighbors at this time. Once you reach that limit, a different pop-up will appear, giving you the opportunity to tell your friend that you stopped by, but not showing the coins/energy/experience gain.
Now it's time to return to your base camp:
Now the only thing left on your quest pop-up is to move on to Treasure Trail. You can click the "Go" button here:
Or you can click the "Map" button here:
And select the Treasure Trail Expedition:
And that's it! You're on your way!
