If I have a cell phone, how can I secure my Zynga Poker account on Facebook?

It‘s very important to have Information Security on your computer. Your cell phone includes the advantage of being able to use Login Approvals. This is a great feature put out by Facebook to help keep your account safe!

Below is a list of security steps that need to be taken before a full investigation is completed.

Enable Cookies

Google Chrome
(PC Players)
1.     Click the icon on the far left of your browser (Wrench icon) marked Chrome.
2.     Select Option from the drop-down menu.
3.     Select Under the Hood and go to Content Settings.
4.     Make sure that Allow local data to be set is selected and then close this browser tab.
(MAC Players)
1.     Go to the tab marked Chrome and select Preferences
2.     Select Under the Hood and got to Content Settings
3.     Make sure that Allow local data to be set is selected and X out of that Tab

FireFox
(PC Players)
1.     Go to Firefox and select Tools and then select Options from the drop-down menu.
2.     Click the Privacy tab and change Firefox will: to Use custom settings.
3.     Make sure that Accept cookies from sites and Accept third party cookies are selected.
4.     Close the pop-up window.
(Mac Players)
1.     Go to the tab marked Firefox and select Preferences.
2.     Select the Privacy tab and change Firefox will: to Use custom settings.
3.     Make sure that Accept cookies from sites and Accept third party cookies are selected.
4.     Close the pop-up window.

If you had to enable the cookies for a browser, it may take a few days before you will be able to proceed with the following steps.

Removal of Unrecognized Devices from Facebook
1.     In Facebook, click Account (upper right) and select Account Settings.
2.     Select Security from the options located on the left.
3.     Click Recognized Devices to display all devices that have logged into your Facebook account.
4.     Remove all recognized devices and save your changes.

Change Password

Enabling Facebook Login Approvals in Facebook
1.     In Facebook, click Account (upper right) and select Account Settings.
2.     Select Security from the options located on the left.
3.     Click Edit, located across from Login Approvals.
4.     Click the box next to require me to enter a security code sent to my phone
5.     A pop-up appears asking you for the Home Location and your Cell Phone Number: enter the information, select Send me a text and click Continue.

That’s it! That computer is now recognized as your Main Computer. If someone tries to log in to your account from another location or device, they will be prompted to input a security code which will be sent to the cell phone number you put in earlier.
