Hello, Adventurers!
Welcome to Adventure World! Jungle Path is the very first quest in the game, and as such, it contains a lot of built-in help. Still, in order to be complete with our guides, we're going to put together a walkthrough for it.
First, you will need to select your gender in the game. Once you have done, that, you will read a telegram, and then it's time to get on with the adventure!
First, let's take a look at the entire map for Jungle path:
The first thing you will need to do is pick up the machete sitting on the ground.
Once you do that, you will get to start whacking away at the bushes that block your path:
As you go along, you will find that doing certain actions lets you pick up coins, experience, and sometimes even energy. You can simply mouse over these items to pick them up - no need to click!
Do a little bit of exploring here, and follow the arrow prompts. Watch for your radio symbol to pop up to let you know when you have a new quest!
When you click on it, you will be given the details of what you need to do to complete the quest.
In this first quest, you will be looking for Key Fragments. Be careful, though! The jungle is a dangerous place, and you might get caught in a trap, if you aren't careful.
Traps can be sprung by watching for trap switches.
Sprung traps look like this, and are safe to walk upon:
Progress through the quest by picking up the Key Fragments, avoiding traps and gathering coins, experience stars, and energy bursts as you go:
As you work through this level, you'll have the opportunity to complete a second quest that will introduce you to the Utilities Button.
You can find the utilities button here:
Click on it, and then choose the Full Screen button:
You can go into full screen mode, and then push "Esc" to exit that mode:
You can also click on the ground and drag it around to move the "camera". Give it a try to finish the quest!
Somewhere along the way, you will probably gain a level. Congratulations!
Levelling up refills your energy bar, and gives you the opportunity to purchase new items and visit new places.
Once you finish gathering up all of the key fragments, you will finish the first quest!
Then you'll be able to move on to the next:
Head over to collect your journal:
Then you can click on the cave door:
And you're ready to recruit some friends to help you out. You will need friends in Adventure World - it's dangerous out there alone!
Another way to recruit friends is to go to the "Neighbors" tab at the top of the game window:
If you scroll down a little ways, you can also see those of your friends that are already playing the game. If you select them, and then send a request to them, they will sow as pending in the neighbor list:
You can get back to your game from this screen by pushing the "Play" tab:
Okay, now you're ready to move along! Enter the cave door, and it's time to move on!
