When you visit the Home Turf of a rival, you will notice the Heat Meter just above the name of the turf. The Heat Meter is a measure of the difficulty you will have if you attempt to rob any of the buildings on the turf.
Before robbing, you must defeat the turf's owner, who will be standing near the center of the turf. After you defeat the owner, begin robbing a building that has the 'masked-man' icon above it. The Heat Meter begins at 'Easy', but as you and other players visit the turf and rob it, the meter will gradually go to 'medium', then to 'hard'. As the meter goes towards hard, the robbing reward amounts will decrease, and you will see more 'robbery failed' notices.
Each player who visits the turf to rob it will see the same heat meter reading.
