We understand your concerns regarding the recent changes to the Free Gifts Page, Permits, and population requirements for Expansions. Our goal is to always support the vision of the game, which is to build the city of your dreams with your friends and these changes support that vision, while keeping the game balanced. We always strive to make this a fun and exciting experience that presents challenges and requires strategy along the way. We welcome your feedback and hopefully you have noticed that we certainly listen.
With regards to the change in expansions, we have addressed a bug that existed in the game – at certain levels the population maximum was not working as designed. Your population requirement will now increase as intended. As for permits, we encourage you to play with your friends and ask them for help to build and expand your city! We have provided many additional ways to get gifts and will continue to do so.
Our mission at Zynga is to Connect the World Through Games. As we pass our one year mark (Happy Birthday CityVille!), we hope you are as excited as we are for what’s to come. Think of all the features of a city. And now think of how those features are in CityVille. There is so much to do and so much more to come.
