Some players have reported that they cannot send or receive gifts/quest items. This may manifest in multiple ways:
- Unable to publish requests for Quest items or free gifts
- Unable to send free gifts due to an empty friends list (FIXED)
- Requests do not publish to the newsfeed even after clicking share
We do understand that it can affect your ability to complete quests or finish buildings. We apologize for this inconvenience.
We have identified a root cause for the blank friend selector page when sending gifts. This affected Internet Explorer 9 users using the Compatibility Mode. To avoid the blank friend selector, we recommend turning off the Compatibility Mode or upgrading or changing your browser.
UPDATE: We identified a couple of problems that result in feeds not posting and have resolved those issues for our players. However, we are aware that this has not resolved posting issues for everyone. The FarmVille team is continuing to look into posts not appearing on your newsfeed.
